I've been there! I've been in situations where my 3rd shot will not work no matter how hard I try. These situations have also been the ones that matter the most. Over the years, I've developed some steps that I can personally take to get myself back on track to win more points. Today, I tell you all about it.

Thank you for the great video on the 3rd and 5th shot. The 3rd shot drop has been by far the most difficult stroke to accomplish on a regular basis.

Looks like you moved away from your gearbox paddle. Any comment on why? I still love my cx14e going on 2 years.

I noticed at 8m18s that you're holding your breath when doing your shots and that you only exhale after your shot is already done. I started becoming aware of that myself when I started recording my games. Probably better to take a breath when you prepare and exhale as you make your shot
Funny enough, this is something that I only do in my videos because I’m trying to speak at the same time. Good point though, regardless.

@@PickleballKitchen When I'm playing singles and even doubles I seem to be standing in the wrong spot when the ball comes back at me. I'm standing at the kitchen line and in ready position. Maybe I need to drill volleys more.
