also the original dance every dancer in the video had their own distinct spirit to dance (everyone did the dance the same. but differently in spirit) some modified like ross and jordan fisher. i prefer jordans version the best.

Jalen Trahan I don't like the mirrored version either, it confuses me. But I used to get a lot of requests for it, so I added it in for the people it does help. I always skip it ;)
You can! In the dance they have a split second between the two, but you can definitely do them at the same time if that's easier. As you practice more, you can always do them one at a time later. Either way, it works :)
