Nice submersible. I served at the US Navy's Deep Submergence Unit in the 90's and worked on the DSRV Avalon and DSRV Mystic. Tech has come a long way since then.

Yes they need but must quick enough to rescue as level of O2 is👇 and level of CO2 is👆 as the time goes by. Also the integrity of submarine body that withstand high pressure at the bottom of the sea.
