I'm subscribing here from Fray's Canifis One Chunk Ironman series (where he is still in the Revenant Caves). Still watching his latest (1 hour) episode but I'll be checking out this series afterwards since it sounds interesting starting off at Chambers of Xeric.
Nah, I've seen someone decide to start at the Wizard's Tower. Meaning you first have to grind up to level 60 something magic with just the runes dropped by wizards with no equipment, which is brutal, and after you are done with that, your only next chunk has the Farming Cape in it. That is a bad idea for a starting chunk. I think that first chunk took them 8 months, the second about a week, but then they unlocked a tree patch and had to grind to 99 farming with just a single tree patch. Can you imagine that they quit? How unprofessional. Or maybe they are still doing it, and in another three years we will get an update that they finally completed the 5 year long grind.
Hey, came back because I suddenly thought of the absolute worst starting chunk. The monk's temple, where they have the prayer cape. So in order to leave your first chunk, you have to kill and bury the bones of roughly 4 million monks/dwarves without any weapon upgrades. That would be HELL.
The truth is that I’m going to be using alts a lot to complete this chunk. It’s not viable to complete every raid solo like a normal account would without potions or good stats and gear yet. I promise the series will still be interesting and I’ll actually be able to leave the chunk and advance the account one day
I legit feel guilty watching this stuff, like I'm watching someone destroy their mental health for my entertainment. But its so great. Stay healthy bro.

I’m ready for this binge. While I do college work and grind myself. Not RuneScape, I played leagues a little this year enough to get an ursine chance after 600 Calisto kills. Needless to say, I’ll be working on music. Wish I could play still, but this is good enough.
I think this is the start of a new career. Great concept too, audio quality is good which is really important my only issue was the long intro, wasn’t sure what I was getting into soon enough so skipped ahead to see then went back to beginning. Could be helpful feedback, tho I don’t think you asked haha.

One thing I would recommend is once you get into a maze, hop to a f2p world. That way, you don't get any def or att pots allowing you to get more arrows. You just need to hop back at 1% or you will teleport back to lumbridge.
This is the ultimate chunk series, I'm so excited to see episodes pop up for this series now. I don't care how long they take to come out it'll feel like christmas when they do :P

its really hard to follow whats going on when you havent done any raids. Personally would appreciate a little more explaination ongoingly. Also confused as to how you completed a raid!? If you dont have to solo it, cant you just boost for all the drops?
Yeah more explanation on completing raids in the next video. Unfortunately soloing chambers relies too much on stamina potions so we won’t be doing many solos on the account.
Awesome! I tried this for about 1 week and gave up. The hunter is just so slow. Did you try to flinch trolls yet to get combat XP? I used an alt to tank the troll and attack it on the Iron you even still get loot. Or you can BGS spec his defense down first.
If you hop to a f2p world while you are looting the random event chest, it gets rid of 2 of the potions. So you have a higher chance of the stuff you want. Hope you notice this.
So the new tech for getting arrows out of the Maze Random is to hop to an FTP world after you're in the Maze. This increases the drop rates of arrows as you cannot receive some of the members items. Before the Maze Random ends, you need to hop back to a members world or it will spit you out in Lumby.
Seeing as you are allowing the use of alts, you can probably drag rock crabs into your area, to help with low level melee training. (They also have a 1/700k chance of giving you a d spear!)
It would give me an 85 smithing grind with only super heat. So it’s bittersweet. I’m not a fan of dragging things from another chunk. 2 trolls spawn in the chunk so I don’t have anything against luring the other trolls in.
When you get maze randoms, if you hop to a f2p world, you don't get the atk/def potions, and your chances to get arrows goes from 1/10 to 1/8 chance. Just don't forget to hop back to a p2p world before the event is over.
so why do you want 95 fletching if you cant fletchdarts period? Also its strange to me to go for 99 hunter since implings are not chunk specific. If you do get implings, process what you get but going for everything they drop seems a little much even for extreme one chunk
If it’s not against Jagex rules then it’s not against mine. And this is a mechanic that any Ironman can do. My own restriction is to do the work myself and not pay boosters to do it. And trust me it’s a lot of work

how did you manage to loot the chest without ever having to kill any bosses i have never done the raid myself so i am a bit confused??
As long as the team finishes the raid and you manage to obtain points you receive some loot. If you get no points you don’t get anything
