    Wow!!! 😮 One seemingly friendly Bigfoot fights off a red-eyed aggressive Bigfoot. What an experience! Thanks to the authors for sharing with us, and thanks to you, Nance for your beautiful narration.
    I’ve heard several stories like this, where “friendly” Squatchs fight off a more sinister and aggressive Squatch that clearly wants to hurt the humans.
    What could be going on in a situation like this? It sure implies that there are different “races” of these creatures who do not get along.

      Just like ppl, but different. Some are mean and some are nice. I've also heard stories of Bigfoot fighting another to protect ppl, and Bigfoot saving children from animal attacks. How scary to be in the situation with the author and his friends. It would be shocking as well as amazing to see such a creature, let alone two. And being protected by one from another one that wants to harm you.

      @@iknowheis I have a few native friends and there peoples stories say the red eyes are hostile and will eat the normal eyes and humans... Long time ago they traded with the normal eyes group but never the red eyes..... I never did hear of a friendly red eyes big foot... My friends also said there people referenced the normal eyes big feet as a tribe, but the red eyes got called monsters/evil spirits...

    WOW!! I live in Shelby County which is very close to Meade County. It is a small world. I worked with student teachers in Brandenburg and Flagherty. I shared stories of female soldiers in the Civil War with the local historical society and again with the Ladies' Tea during a re-enactment of the battle in Brandenburg. Wonderful place. I will share that Ft. Knox Military Base is massive. It would be a good place for Bigfoot to live due to the dense forest and access to water. The author of this story did an awesome job of writing it. The gentleman who wrote the story was absolutely right about living in today's world and not knowing who or what you might run into not only camping, but traveling anywhere. There are many, many people , especially women, in this country who are naive. After all of these lone women have been killed, there are some that still hike after dark and alone. Predators look for such people because they are easy prey. Thank you for this awesome story Nance.

    I would like to share my story on bigfoot. One night I was taking my trash out curbside. As my eyes adjusted to the darkness I thought I saw movement to my right. As I looked to my right I saw a very large hairy creature. I couldn't move from fright. Then as the sudden a car passed by shining its headlights directly on the the creature. That's when I got an excellent look at it. Turns out it was just my mother in law. Taking her trash out too .needless to say I didn't sleep a wink that night. It was the most terrifying moment of my life. At least now I know what the plausible explanation of the bigfoot sightings are.. it is and always has been mother in laws . I still haven't come to grips from that night it was that terrifying .

    This one was so good that I listened to it twice. I wish we had bigfoot around here, but in Central Maryland sightings are rare. There is one big area for about 20 miles along the Patapsco River drainage and the steep terrain there were sightings used to happen a bit. But the woods are shrinking in this part of the state. I am sure far more sightings happen than are reported by a factor of 10 or more. I have seen lots of things that aren't supposed to be here and get ridiculed for those. and they are species known to exist elsewhere. I can only imagine the ridicule for saying you saw a cryptid species. I am sure most share those encounters with very few that they can trust, or nobody at all. Most of the ones I have read about had multiple witnesses and other supporting evidence. They even organized a few hunts for them led by the authorities, but only found tracks.

    • @BuckeyeBigfoot
      @BuckeyeBigfoot  Рік тому +2

      Maryland is a very populated state - I have friends who live there and in Delaware.
      I just looked at the BFRO site and they show 35 reports for Maryland. If 35 people took the time to seek out the BFRO and make a report with them, there's probably many more that didn't.
      Keep your eyes open - you never know what you will see!

    • @treyt3764
      @treyt3764 Рік тому +2

      I checked out the BFRO. The area I talked about would be the area of Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County and Carroll County, which combined account for 15 of the 35 reports in the BFRO, but not all in the area I mentioned. I have lived in Pleasant Hills (Harford County) for 15 years or so. The largest part of the Gunpowder State Park is across the street from my house. The BFRO reports ~30 year old sightings in my neighborhood and the Park near my home, but nothing this century. The only person I have met that claims to have seen a bigfoot saw it in Harford County 40+ years ago. He told the story as it being a bear (pretty rare in this part of the state but not unheard of) until he got too old to care about being ridiculed. Then he said it was actually a bigfoot, and stated he is too old to care about the ridicule or career fallout. I have been an outdoorsman all my life and spent 100 times more in the woods than most outdoorsman. I don't remember anything that I couldn't explain (smells, tracks, sounds, or sightings). But I wasn't thinking bigfoot was a possibility until more recently. I keep an open mind based on my experiences with seeing animals not said to exist anywhere near here. I get ridiculed by many for stating what I have seen. I told my brother about seeing an animal that looked like a badger while deer hunting a property we both hunt. He said the badgers have a den right in front of one of his favorite stands and he sees them almost every time he hunts it, but wouldn't tell anyone because they wouldn't believe it. But since I had seen one try to ambush a pair of young deer as they got funneled through a narrow gap between two deadfall he told me. I am older and don't get out as much now, but I will certainly remain vigilant. My wife is from a part of Pennsylvania that is a bigfoot hotspot, remote Westmoreland County. There are ridges that stretch a long way SW to NE through that region that the bigfoot seem to use for seclusion and/or travel corridors. I get up that away several times a year for long weekends. Maybe I will see one there if I am lucky. I need to see some solid evidence to go from open minded to knower. That is on my bucket list.
