Working in corrections for 14 years at a maximum security prison and death row to boot I was subject to numerous traumatic situations that left scars on my psyche. His discription of carrying that burden and having it lifted without feeling exposed and judged by a loving entity was magical to my soul and I wanted to thank you and him for being people I can trust. Much love a devoted follower. -Lodis

So wild about the mother bigfoot.
I had to walk out of a not so good situation at night, alone, in the rain, deep in the Forrest of Western NC to get our van back to the trailhead. Me, my son and my buddy got stuck under a rock overhang due to a sudden HUGE storm that lasted until past dark.
I ain't gonna lie, I was scared walking out.
I heard a mountain lion (even though they supposedly aren't in the area)
Shortly after, I heard what sounded like a human walking on the Ridgeline above me..
I can't really explain this part, but I got this overwhelming feeling 'someone' was telling me '''its ok. I'll walk with you.it won't follow anymore'''(I just KNEW 'it' meant the mountain lion) ... I could sometimes see a dark outline against the night sky on the Ridgeline by looking, but not looking, as I walked.
But each time, I could tell I wasn't being sneaky, because the being knew I was going to try to look, before I did.
It was a Mother.. I don't know how I knew that. But I did.
It somehow "heard" me thinking about encouraging myself to overcome the fear, on behalf of wanting to get my son safe and dry and in the van.
It/she related to that, and offered help by walking me out from a distance.
I don't really care if anyone believes me..
But I DID make it to the road and all the way back to our van safely and was able to pick up my son and buddy.
That was a looooong, crazy night and I'll never forget it.

Tim had empathic abilities and his mind was opened to the Bigfoot's interaction. Some of these creatures must possess healing abilities and intuitively know when someone is hurting. If you are in an area where they exist and are a respectful and sensitive person, they may try to interact with you. I live in the mountains of WVa and had that happen a few years ago. I felt safer when they were around than when they were not. The black bears, mountain lions and coyotes seem to keep away when the Big Ones were around!
Thus is a great story and we need more of these awe inspiring ones to counteract all the scary ones!

💗💗💗💗💗💗👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼, i also think "empathic" is a key word. My daughter & i are very empathic. Sometimes i can sense the "feeling" of a situation or person almost like a physical touch.. it's not something that i can choose to use at will, it just happens. Sometimes, the strength its is like a nudge, sometimes its like a 3-alarm fire. Sometimes the reason for that feeling is quick in coming, sometimes i find out later what the reason was. And its not a 24/7 thing.

Sounds like the female was "keeping watch" over the visitors in the camp. I bet they had viewed the apples being left for them as a gift, and they seen the 2 people so wanted to make sure each of the campers had one... Tho I do wonder why just one at a time showed up rather then both of them...In other stories it always sounds like coyotes never stay where "the big ones" are as the coyotes always seam to be chased off.... I think the female keeping watch was there to keep a eye on the campers and alert the rest of her group if they where to move, but she sure did make it clear that the camp was under her protection too...There is a story I heard in Minn from the 1800's or so, "that if your a guest of the natives in there land. You fall under there protection and laws" I can't help but to wonder if this would hold true with the big ones as most natives seam to call them a tribe or peoples, rather then pack of animals. I kinda am thinking if you visit them, they have a rule like that to try and protect you as long as you show respect and fallow there rules....

Once you answer those questions, please supply me the name of the monkey suit manufacturer providing such amazing suits for all this time.

Thanks Nance for this one as it explained more about the "mindspeak" that is talked about on some of the other channels. Leave food for them, and then go leave them alone. Leave the next move to them. The next night they may bring you a gift. Sometimes they will bring their children to observe you. Don't point a weapon at them! As humans, what we don't understand, we are alway's first to shoot and ask questions later. Remember they were here first! They will protect you, if you don't try to harm them. ❤

I also have PTSD from non service events... From growing up in Minnesota, something about getting to sit and listen to the crackle of a fire in the woods is very soothing an peaceful. The warmth is very trance like for me where I can kinda just zone out and put my mind in idle while being aware of whats around me....Not sure if I ever had a bigfoot watch over my camp when I was with my family, dont think so as we where kinda loud and busy... But there was a time or two cutting threw some wood on my way to school I felt like I was being watched tho I stuck to the trail and was walking fast normal, so I never had anything but the feeling few times. My mind was also busy with things to do that day and running over some stuff for class, so unless a bigfoot stepped on the trial before me I would have missed it.

Another wonderful story!! My Dad was in the Korean War and his nerves were terrible. He never would talk about what he saw but did say that he had seen people killed. He fell from a 50’ cliff in Korea and had grand mal seizures afterwards. He loved being out in the woods and I’ve often wondered if he ever saw Bigfoot here in the mountains of West Virginia!! He was a very compassionate person and rarely brought home anything from hunting. I think that just being out there and connecting with nature gave him an inner peace and calm. He passed at 65 when I was 38. I wish I had him with me still to sit and talk with about his life and adventures. I’m hooked on your stories. I’ve been told that I too have a nice voice. Recently I was informed by someone that there has been DNA evidence to prove that Sasquatch is approximately 98-99% human. As far as PTSD goes it opens up the limbic system part of the brain to be more receptive in my experience as well. I’d like to quote Jesus Christ as saying “My Grace is sufficient for you. For My Power is made perfect in your weaknesses/illnesses so therefore you may rejoice that when you are weak… Through My Power you are made strong.” This has been my mantra for a few years now. I’ve been saved by His Amazing Grace.
Dear Tim and others with PTSD may you be blessed with the knowledge of how loved you are and that perfect love casts out all fear. Love you.

I have been a fan of Nance, and Cam for three or four years. Thank you for the stories Nance. Last summer, after hearing a story from Cam referencing Steve from How to Hunt, I became a follower of his channel as well.
Steve and many of his following who share encounters have shared that if, just like Tim and Carol, you enter Sasquatch country, you announce out loud, and send the feeling out into the forest to Bigfoot, stating your intentions and asking them respectfully for either no encounter or a peaceful interaction, that your request will often be granted. It seems that Tim’s respectful statement and request, in tandem with a gift of apples, worked with the local Bigfoots. Then the mama bigfoot’s empathy picked up on Tim’s pain and need and evoked such a caring response. Amazing.
I think too often we humans exude arrogance, entitlement, dominance, lordship over nature, and lack of respect when we go out into nature. Then when sasquatch encounter us they react to that stance with aggression and dominance back. Or, if they encounter us with curiosity or wariness and we react with fear, or anger, and bring weapons into it, the encounter is negative. If we reach out first with respect, we strike the right tone for any interaction.
Great story. Thanks Nance, Carol, and Tim. God Bless to all.

Hi Nanc. Sounds like Tim and his wife had a couple of guardians looking out for them. I also think that sasquatch have very keen olfactory receptors and can pick up a great deal of information from the scents around them including from us. Cats, dogs and other animals never ceases to amaze me with these abilities and their reactions to the information they gather.
In a number of encounter stories I've heard, sasquatch reaction to sensing fear in humans has been to take action and help...but not always. All creatures are individuals and should be treated accordingly. All sasquatch are not our friends and we'd do well to keep that in mind as when dealing with any animal...or people for that matter. Thanks so much for this group of stories. The both entertaining and informative You always bring it. Take care. ⭐👍⭐👍⭐

Tim, to give you some additional perspective of size, a Reader's Digest article (written in the 80s) stated that if you took all of the coastline of the State of Alaska, and when the tide came in, there was enough real estate covered by the tide to equal ALL of the State of Texas. I like to give Texans a bad time and remind them (when they're boasting how big Texas is) that if the State of Alaska split itself into two, they'd make Texas the third largest State.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tim. And, thank you Nance. It's good to hear a little mischief in your voice again. Always a pleasure tuning in. Oh, and tonight's snackage is simple, Fritos Corn Chips (and some cold water).

Awesome story! I agree with you. Why couldn't a Bigfoot help someone with PTSD! I once heard someone say that they taught the first people what plants and roots were good for medicine and what was edible. I do think it's very possible. I think they're very in tune with nature and energy fields, and they use that to their advantage. Just my opinion. Thanks for sharing your story. I loved it! Thanks for your channel ❤

I am an Iraq war veteran also and I have PTSD among other things I acquired from my 2 deployments. For the first time I have heard an amazing explanation of what I have been feeling for the last 17 years. It’s so hard to explain what is wrong when you aren’t even sure what the problem is. Thank you sir.

I so much want this to be a true story. It has the ring of truth having experienced a similar epiphany with a wolf that was sitting silently behind a tree as I walked by. Sensing being watched, I turned and froze making eye contact. All I could think to do was say "Hi who are you?"
I then felt myself being scanned from head to toe... This was followed by a sensation of empathy. The wolf was feeling sympathy for me. I felt helpless and vulnerable knowing that I was in total disadvantage of fending off an attack. . Then, He just turned and walked away.

Yeah just as I surmised some Sasquatch are here to help us. Not all are vicious man eating monsters. Like I said before they are like humans some just want to be left alone, some don't like us, and some will help us when we are in need. Even if we don't know we are in need of help. It's the friendly Sasquatch that give some comfort knowing that even if we can't trust other humans they are there willing to help us. Maybe not everyone agrees with me on this but that is my belief. Thank you for the encounters.

Tim please know older vets most definitely suffered from PTSD. Of course they called it shell shocked or battle fatigue. My Dad enlisted at 17 during WWII. At age 18 he landed on Omaha Beach as a Navy Corpsman attached to the Marines. He talked about combat once with my Mom and once with my oldest brother when he enlisted during Vietnam. Otherwise he never spoke of it. No one did. Not even at family gatherings when almost all the men of a certain age served. But know it did affect them. My Dad was a great guy but he had a hair trigger temper, drank too much and smoked 2 1/2 packs of Marlboro a day. By my midteens, a few years after he passed I understood. Between the war and a horrible childhood he most definitely suffered from PTSD. Like I said, he could be the neatest, goofiest, funniest Dad ever but he and many dads from that era had their demons. He/they did the best they could. Love to all those men.

My Dad was a WWII vet. We would ask for him to tell us war stories to which you would reply. War is hell and I hope you never experience it.
Dad was strict, very respectful (he demanded of us as well), helpful, tidy, and took correspondence school classes to better himself.
My paternal grandfather passed when Dad was 13 so Dad dropped out of the eighth grade and went to work. One of his jobs was as a soda jerk. He enlisted in the Navy and was fortunate to come home.
Dad didn't swim. He would go with us when we swam in the lake, but he was hesitant to go in the water. I think he was shell shocked. He once said something similar to; I don't know what's in that water.
