I mean Reynald didnt have a choice to be roshi, and he could of level 3’d broly but with some good timing and reflects he couldnt which was kind of bs.
I love how if a random person saw UI Goku just walk they wouldn't understand why it's so hype

5:02 Shanks awakening his ultra instinct and walking through ki blasts is still one of the best things i've seen in video games
This mortal really is something else
Walk into DP was huge.. normally the Beerus player would have cancelt the DP into a LV1 and DHC out into a another super - to get out saftly. But in order to do the Beerus Lv1, the DP has to hit - but UI hasnt a activ hitbox at all for ki blast while walking - so the Beerus player cannot cancel into anything. So this play is much much much bigger than many people believe.
Actually Gropis and Shanks said it was into Spark, because its totally safe

As a Beerus main it was sad to see UI just walk through that DP. Even grabs and SD go through it.

The walk phasing is a risky move tho, thats why its hype because its a read.

I saw this fight as soon as the vid was posted. That one missed throw by Roshi was what lost the tourny for Reynald. John's Broley is pretty insane though too.

When JM is hype, it’s the most wholesome hype. So infectious. But these sets were sooo amazing live!
The Jonathan ssb goku comeback against that was teabagging ui goku player was easily one of the best in the whole tourney.
Also when Reynald baited the UI Goku dp using krillin after image and killed him. Thought that was pretty sick
For someone who doesn't play the game, but can appreciate the mechanics and spectacle of the game, these highlights are great!
Just wanted to say, after I saw that, I went against a beerus and did the same thing and I felt so alive haha
Reynald definitely took a big gamble that ended up backfiring on him

@Ze TheGame tbh I don’t play DBz, I play Tekken and to me it looked like he try to finish that round with the Tekken equivalent move “Taunt jet upper...”
@Ze TheGame I would actually say it's more of a case of flexing and playing with your food more than a strategic plan. He wanted to bottle his opponents for a finish each time so such thing could easily be read. So I'd say it wasnt that safe of an option compared to other options honestly.
I love this format. Please keep it up. My time enjoying/playing/watching this game has been very limited lately.
