Very good to see this quality control testing done. It is reassuring. I expected more damage to the blade quicker so thats a good sign. The handle coming apart though is a sign the quality there can be improved upon. Great video. Thanks. 👌
Yes and no. With these L6 bainite blades and the L6 he uses, and the lower bainite he gets that things ridiculous strong but with a slightly soft edge for a katana but harder then a European sword. And it's a thick blade design and he forges traditionally with niku. Those blades will split 1095 swords in half if they're made like a normal differentially hardened katana. And the way its made. The edge with break and the spine will hold before it snaps.
