I, for the life of me, can't understand why a lot of women are ashamed to talk about their age. Listen, I'm 53. My goatee started going gray at 33. I shaved it off at that point, not letting it grow back until I was 45, because I was told, by another black woman, that it was attractive. I could have dyed it, but y'all would have been coming for me if I did. I had to embrace it if I was going to sport it. Another thing: my own mother died at 46, so she didn't get to age, period. Personally, I'd like to see a woman accept and embrace her age without being ashamed.
