OMG! I remember watching this show when I was little, and I am 30! I showed some episodes to my 2 year old neice, and she liked them. It was a good change of pace from Dora.
I love this show. I took my daughter to there concert in Ct. in 87 88. I was just watching this video on here and i could swear i hear Bram say awe shit, when there where doing the elephant jokes, lol
I hope the show goes to DVD quality because of the children. When I was 7, i first saw "the 1980s Version of SkinnamarinkTV" which means "The Elephant Show".
What happened to the girl who played wendy? (wendy chung) i've search all over the internet and its hard to believe she dissapeared after this show, i had such a huge crush on her when i was younger
Sad news; Lois passed on Apr 23 at 78, from Cancer. I heard about it on As It Happens, but forgot to add this comment until now. She was awarded the Order of Canada in 2002. It is quite rare for an American to receive this Award. I saw the Show a few times, but as a teen. I have since bought 1 or 2 of their VHS of "Skinamarink TV" & all their Record Albums, in case I end up with Children around.. Really cannot do much better than S.L.&B for clean Children's entertainment.
+RetroCaptain I found out in April... and then I forgot... and then I found out again, and this time... I'll never forget again! I loved Lois, and the others (Grew up watching them)
I see this comment was made 2 years ago, so I assume you're 23 now? I'm 23 too and I always wondered if anybody else my age saw this show as a kid. Good to know I wasn't alone!
