That Jiminez injury was a major major turning point let’s all be honest
0000😊000😅0000😊0😊000😊000
Yeah hard to predict stuff like that
Ronaldo better
I mean I think Jiminez injury was the key point in our downfall, if he had been fit then fabio wouldnt of been rushed in and would of been able to develop while wolves still had a goal scorer which would of kept the team performing well
Then Mendes became a key issues just bringing in players to shop them for bigger moves, rhe shift to a more stat driven recruitment has added alot, Matt Hobb is going a great job and signings like João Gomes, lemina, sarabia are all great and will add alot and O'neill has alot more passion and he will adapt to the squad rather than lopetaguie trying to force the squad into his way of playing like he did with Nunes at RM
Wolves just sat back and defended while Raul Jimenez did everything up front. Their goal machine got injured and suddenly all the wins turned into draws, draws into losses
not true in the slightest, raul was important but not as important as the team around him. the likes of jota, doherty, traore and even jonny were some of the best in their positions at the time. on top of that nuno played swift counter attacking football. but we were so drilled into a 5-back side which we knew wasnt the way to progress, post nuno at least. no wolves fan could predict JLO leaving and even more so with the replacement being o’neil, a complete switch in approach.
That is absolutely not true
People will come here with the United game and say this is wrong. But the United game was the problem. They played a non up to date United side and dominated them. But couldn't score any goals. That is what is gonna ruin Wolves. They can't finish. Dominating the opponent doesn't matter if you can't score.
If somehow Wolves still survived in Premier League from now until at least 3 years (or more), it was big achievement.
As they say, if you live by the Jorge Mendes, you die by the Jorge Mendes
I think that United heist should be written about for generations. 600 million burned down of that Chev deal. Insane rinsing. And of course Woodward as the main culprit.
If anyone can keep them up then it's Gary O'Neil, it would be hell of an achievement
Nuno shouldn’t have left and Wolves shouldn’t have sacked him. That simple.
Wolves didn't sacked him, Nuno are the one who want to go to spurs
There is an agreement in principle for Portugal right-back Joao Cancelo, 29, to join Barcelona from Manchester City on an initial season-long loan
The injury Jimenez was a massive factor but even then Wolves are the only mid table club to keep spending money without recouping that loss with player sales.
The acquisitions of Guedes, Silva, Nunes, Sasa, Cunha etc that have shown to be poor investments.
The selling of players like Jota, Neves and Gibbs-white not getting anywhere near there total spend in the premier league.
You can’t get away with it when you don’t earn the same money the top 6 do
Very interesting
Arguably sold 4 captains this Summer, so far.
Jiminez injury was the start of things going wrong for them I see back in the championship soon
Probably nothing but a coincedence, but HITC Sevens made a video about this a week or two ago already... 😬
Who ?
Thats a long one. This ones with more stats
Bold of you to assume they watch that channel, the guy who runs it is an absolute knob 😂😂
Yeah but HITC is political asf, we don’t need that drama, this is better and has 50% less waffle
Hitc videos are incredibly boring and dragged out
Literally Jorge mendes is what happened to us, he has literally manipulated and blackmailed our team into signing and selling whoever he wanted to making millions off every transfer…he should be jailed for what his done, it’s generally criminal
Is it morally wrong what he has done? Probably. Is it illegal? No. Wolves are not forced into buying his clients, but if they refuse he might stop doing business with them. They are his clients so he has the power to do that
Well said
Fresh from getting smashed by Brighton. Wolves are in the relegation dog fight wether they like it or not and the seed was planted the moment they sold Diogo Jota and the skull fracture to Raul Jimenez. Their attack is shocking for years and they had to balance the books to avoid sanctions from FFP hence selling their best players and signing dross like Nunes, Guedes, Costa, Silva, Podence and Hwang. Even their loan signings like Trincao and William Jose were crap. Unless they three worse teams in the Premier League, Wolves will have a difficult season ahead.
Who's here after Wolves have been mauled by Brighton 😂
Me....
And me , and still will be at the end of the season no matter what.🐺
Me I'll always be here for wolves
Mauled is an overstatement btw
Jimenez injury and selling jota
Wolves need more quality players in order to compete for Europe they not good to compete in this state they find themselves in a striker is very much needed aswell now that Jimenez has moved on
Personally I think the the decision to loan out and then sell the team Captain is part of the reason Wolves have been struggling.
Not really when we've brought in Dawson who is better and also it's not the defence that's the problem it's the fact we can't can't score!
Honestly I know everyone got carried away by their amazing performance against United but I still think they’ll battle for relegation this season
This video has not aged well. The haters are wrong and don’t know shit. Wolves have world class players. Cunha,Sarabia, Neto, Hwang, Gomes, Doyle, Doherty, etc have thrived under the new gaffer. Go Wolves! Onto 5th round vs BHA
GET SANTOS BACK PLEASE
Fulham sell Aleksandar Mitrovic to Saudi Arabia Pro League club Al-Hilal for a club-record fee
You lost me at "survive this year" because you can not convince me they will
Matheus Nunes getting a red card on top of a 4-1 thrashing at home is not a good day at the office - can’t spin it any other way.
For Wolves this Brighton match was as humiliating as the match end of last season - Wolves are good in attack but when they can’t put the ball am into the net there is a BIG DANGER that despite Wolves being one of the best attacking teams they will go down this year into the Championship unless they find way they put the ball into the net.
Hopefully our owners will learn and start spending the money right at the end of all this ffp stuff and start buying players for less money and selling them for more instead of wasting it on people who don't want to play for us for way more money. we used to do things right then tried to get too big for our boots and now we find ourselves here. we should not be wasting that much money on players who do nothing for us (guedes)
Im sorry I’m not having this, they BOUGHT the championship with big overspending. It worked but of course it did look at the money! No one Dan compete with that
Didn't work for Derby?
time for wolves to get relegated this season
They cheated and cheated and now the chickens come home to roost.
The Dogheads are on there way down
In a nutshell, having just watched them huf n puf against Brighton, their entire squad couldn’t finish a half eaten ham sandwich.
