You can button mash 2 (maybe even all 3) jump buttons to rev up faster. Do that for a full second or 2, and you should get a full power (or near full power) spin dash. A player won't be able to button mash as fast as in this video though.
Fun fact at 2:20 pulling this feat off actually crashes the game if you managed to defeat eggman before he fully submerges crashes the game in sonic 2 on the switch version on Genesis game collection i even have footage but you do need to be super sonic not sure if it works in origins though

Someone should make an extention of this mod that includes the bosses from Sonic CD and Sonic 3K. Might be a big ask but considering hacks like Sonic Delta 3MB and Sonic Classic Heroes exist which mix elements from all 3 games, it shouldn’t be impossible
