It was a clip of a older guy given his professional advice how to cut the branches and I want to know more then this video popped up. I dont descriminate when it comes to work but i dislike these kind of clients. Especially at the begining when the lady said, "make sure im at the top of the list".
Very great video and very good knowledge for guys who are new to the industry man , the only thing I noticed wrong in my opinion was the fact that the guy dragging limbs to the chipper fed the chipper from the wrong side . I was taught to always feed the chipper from the curbed side of the road to avoid the potential of a struck by incident, ie car or struck by the limbs themselves due to most chipper cut at and angle towards the right therefore throwing limbs to the left side when feeding. You more than likely have more experience than I’ve ever had I just thought I’d put some of what I’ve learned into the comments to help better everyone who is in our industry Incase they have not been taught these safety rules and hazards , like I say great video man people like you are who make people like my self and other less experienced arborist better every day thank you for the great content
The customer service part! I can relate haha. Those eye bolt cables are a joke. Smart using the weight of your device to lower your line where you needed the rigging rope setup. Good job with these videos man, really shows the reality of the job from multiple perspectives.
Awesome work guys. Super smooth & controlled rigging! Every arborist across the world holds their tools in an old ammo box right?! You guys worked solid on this! Hope you’re out of lockdown & back working soon 👏🏻. Pete (UK Arb currently in NZ).
Nice rope work on the top! Hardly a wiggle. A Humboldt notch when lowering blocks makes things a little smoother, the block falls more on a downward angle in comparison to a standard face cut, which tends to make the block spring away from the stem. Never been a fan of cabling, usually just setting up the next guy and postponing the inevitable. Great job, looks like a great crew!
I love watching you guys! It takes some serious skills to do what you do! I lose my stomach just watching you up top that tree, never mind the swaying!! Jeeeesus😳
I built a lowering device out of a cub cadet rear wheel and some large eyelet bolts and ratchet straps. It worked really well after we burned the paint off of it. I’m surprised we didn’t burn the rope.Your winch option is great. There were times when I wished we could lift debris back up a couple of feet to clear a snag..now I just do bushes and very small trees. Larger ones I refer to you younger guys with the brains and brawn I used to have. I really enjoy watching.

It was a clip of a older guy given his professional advice how to cut the branches and I want to know more then this video popped up. Yup, I watched the entire 28.32 of it and so impressed with all of it!! My daughter was commenting what you watch someone cutting a tree and you watched the entire video? Lol 😂 yup and it was the best!!! Thank you for sharing and I appreciates your professionalism… I will hire professionals rather to get the saw for my dad to cut it lol 😂
I love how even though they're co-workers they all seem like they've been friends since they were kids 🖤
They likely were.
I work for mountain f enterprise out in northern california, we do alot of transmission-residential tree work. Im out in transmission and its always cool seeing how other companys work trees. Been dealing with black oaks and pondos and man its a pain, keep up the good work brother!
yea...yea....yea....oh really?.... yea.....
Inner thoughts: YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
😂😂😂😂👌🏼👌🏼
I dont descriminate when it comes to work but i dislike these kind of clients. Especially at the begining when the lady said, "make sure im at the top of the list".
Big props to you on this. Balls of steel and the know how to match
You guys are badass! No way I would have the balls to climb that high!
Thanks Brandon!
You edit it perfect too. Great teaching!! I have most definitely learned from this.
Awesome work guys. Super smooth & controlled rigging! Every arborist across the world holds their tools in an old ammo box right?! You guys worked solid on this! Hope you’re out of lockdown & back working soon 👏🏻. Pete (UK Arb currently in NZ).
Nice job !Interesting how you work and how it works
My anxiety went through the roof when he was climbing that tree 😳😰
Nice rope work on the top! Hardly a wiggle. A Humboldt notch when lowering blocks makes things a little smoother, the block falls more on a downward angle in comparison to a standard face cut, which tends to make the block spring away from the stem. Never been a fan of cabling, usually just setting up the next guy and postponing the inevitable. Great job, looks like a great crew!
I was thinking just zip line into the neighbors yard for easy access...thats what I think sittin in my armchair haha
What a dangerous job! I was so scared by I kept watching because I was curious how you're going to do it. You're amazing!!💕💕
If this was in the UK you will still be waiting on risk assessments...
I love watching you guys! It takes some serious skills to do what you do! I lose my stomach just watching you up top that tree, never mind the swaying!! Jeeeesus😳
16:19 whats was that "laugh" I didn't notice it the first time I watched it, imagine that on a loop for a whole minute.
Awe man I just binged all your videos last night and today... You should do some at home and at the shop videos maybe go over some climbing gear and saws... Keep us entertained please lol for the love of God
Haha thanks! I am glad you liked it! Did it feel long and dragged out or did it go by somewhat quickly?
Guilty of Treeson you have the content and timing just right....couldn’t sleep tonight, clicked on this vid to try to be lulled back to sleep with the power saw lullaby, but now I’m wide awake and ready to go climb another tree. I think I’ll watch more now :) Thanks brother! From an hour or two north of ya
@@guiltyoftreesoneastsidetre4792 Yes please keep some content coming, you're putting out some good stuff. I think the playback was very good. Seems like some guys are afraid to show too much and people will get bored. I think it's favorable this way.
@@guiltyoftreesoneastsidetre4792 IMHO, just right. I like the pacing and I'm interested in the techniques and equipment.
Wow amazing
23:43 ... gheewhizz you almost hit em.
Thanks for the upload. Aloha from bohemian forest.
Where is this tree you cut down ? Landscape is beautiful.. and seems to be great fishing ground.

Thought the same thing. Yikes.
But good heads up keeping aware on the ground.

That's a massive tree, look how small the guys on the ground look from up there! Respect to you guys
"That's what my chiropractor calls it, touching the rim" 😭😭😭
Haha glad you liked that 😂
That was really great to watch it’s refreshing to see it all done safely. Proper job! 👍
23:43 good thing your groundie was paying attention!
Right, that looked close
Nice work fellas , especially letting that top run . Super smooth ..

As a guy who cuts trees for heat and just started, I gotta ask, a lot of times I saw you using the top of the bar for cuts on the branches when you could’ve gone too down. Probably stupid question but why?
Can’t imagine yous not having that shedder , this is great to watch
The view of the lake is just so amazing
