He’s called “the inheritor” because he killed his previous commander and was never officially granted the rank of apostle. Lorgar merely said that he “inherited” command. His fellow word bearers never let him live that down.

He was so fucking awesome in this dawn of war. I really was hoping for more of him and his eerily calm demeanor in the face of large scale turmoil
When Crull, Bale and Carron said "cross me and die/don't trifle with me worm" you got the feeling that it was just standard Khornate bluster.
When Eliphas said it you knew if you crossed him, death would be the least of your problems
Right, Eliphas sounds so calm that you don't want to make him angry, while the others are angry by default

The calmest and most collected of DOW's chaos lords, even when his morale's broken.
I remember having a First Sergeant in a The Army who was this massively ripped man who stood 6’2 and every step he took every where he went the sound of his thick ass boots and his weight had so much bass and impact to the ground. He sort of reminded me of a Space Marine. And whenever he walked by I would always whisper in Eliphas’s voice: “The ground trembles with every step” and he would hear me and shout “YOUR’E GODDAMN RIGHT MOTHERFUCKER”

Eliphas is the only reason I like the Word Bearers tbh. Before I never really gave them much thought, as I was and am a Death Guard boy for life.
But then I played Dark Crusade and Chaos and fell in love with everything about them. Their color scheme, their leader's lines, everything. I'm filled with life each day I play as them and destroy everything in my path.

At least Steve Blum is competent in voice acting. Eliphas could have been voiced by Dee Can't-fucking-voice-act-for-shit-but-is-still-in-everything Bradley Baker.
Jaime Cuevas At least Baker can do more than ONE FUCKING VOICE. Blum is using literally the same gravely nefarious voice for every single character he does, and it feels like you're listening to a voice-actor rather than the character.
Apocalypse_Later Vindicare Assassin sounds a lot different than Eliphas. Orochimaru sounds way different than Eliphas. Leeron sounds so fucking different from Eliphas. Baker only has like 2 voices just in different pitches. Number 4 barely sounds different from a clone trooper. He's so mediocre especially compared to Blum. I'm sorry Gabriel Angelos didn't voice Eliphas in DoW2.

Yah he became such a backstabbing wussie in Dawn of war 2 During Chaos Rising. He had to backstab his mentor Arghast the Pillager and Arghast was more like og badass Eliphas. probabaly not nearly as due to being an older champion of Korne but still pretty badass. Then you kick Eliphas's ass as secondary objective while preparing to fight ulkaire that he made a deal with.
Only to find out later in Retribution that he became abbadon's bitch was hilarious. Which just shows that Warmaster Abaddon is on whole other level of Badass at least in retribution. The fact that he had to beg and plead with abaddon for more time to complete his accession was priceless and Neoroth was like wtf dude like 3 days isn't enough time we don't even know where the hell we are while on the space hulk invested with tyranid's and orks lol.
even though only optional he then had to visit ulkaire again on Aurelia to be like um yah dude I kinda need your help again. And Ulkaire was like as yes young Eliphas could to see you my friend and I will join you in your fight as my fat ass needs to go for good stretch and or walk. well to put it jokingly. and wordy in know but to add humour.
