Your brother is great and you have no idea how many views you get on tiktok. I saw your vid even before I realized I knew your bro! Keep up the great work!
Cute cat, even it's not a Pallas cat🐱 The brake look like a new design of my former HE Pro, but the HE had a bite point for the clutch and a small spring for soft trail-braking. Apart from the shape I miss something innovative on the mechanism and thanks to my brake-mod I know what could improve it...
@@LaurenceDusoswa I don't see a reason why they should feel different than the HE Pro with the same elastomers (just without the spring) and IMO the new HE elastomers feel significantly better. Doesn't seem to be solid inside, but haven't cut one open. I'm using a combination of the new elastomer, the small HE spring and a thick pressure spring with bumpstop for 3 stages: light tail-braking, up to about 80% brake input with travel till it basically stops and the rest is pressure-based with tiny movement. For 5 bucks I could mod this brake to do it similar and obviously better measured in lap times.
The spring for trail braking is in the brake kit so it can be adjusted, there are also three hardnesses of elastomers🙂 Indeed eslastomers are the same of the old ultimate (not the new black), why? Because when testing both, the feedback was that the new ones allow a better longevity at the expense of the feeling. So it was better to have them. Indeed, every 1/2/3 years, depending on the driving, you will have to change them because they are slightly worn/soiled. This is indeed a negative point that can be solved with black elastomers, or by developing new ones. Be careful not to confuse, the venym is comparable to an ultimate and not to a pro/sprint btw, the elastomers as said before wich are not the old ones from the pro but the ultimate one, but also a more precise electronic card (bits), a possible customization, less expensive, and a design inspired by reality, because VENYM is created by Mygale which manufactures the F4/F3.. Also😄a lot of pro simracers sell their ultimate for a venym and make money in the process ahah
@@Thibault_Cazaubon The Ultimate comes with dampers and a proper clutch, so another ballpark. The dampers make the feel more mechanical especially for throttle and clutch. I was using the Pro-pedals with the white elastomers for 5 years with up to 65 kg of load and the elastomers just didn't look that bright anymore, but still felt like on day one. When I switched them against the former Ultimate, the brake felt quite the same. So longevity doesn't seem to be an issue in general with elastomer brakes with typical use. Elastomers are storing heat if compressed and releasing heat uncompressed. They will feel softer on a hot summer day compare to a cold environment and they will have a latency after decompressing because they react like dampers in a car-suspension. Springs are like glued to your foot in comparison with linear progression. Some switched to VRS and sold their Ultimate for that reason saying, it doesn't feel like a brake, but they experience better control. But springs doesn't provide the mush feeling of a brake, that's why I prefer a combination of both like it's also used in about every car-suspension. There is no reason just copying half of the principle.
PS: I guess the black HE elastomers are not solid inside which causes a faster heat dissipation, so quicker rebound. They certainly feel more 'springy' compare to the solid ones.
I can understand that. I don't really get along with the Invictas too well either. They're great as a real life training tool I'm sure, but they're not for me on my home simulator.
@@LaurenceDusoswa the honesty! Good for a chuckle at your misfortune too :D Great video anyways :) audio was totally acceptable with backup track. Good thing you had that running!
Price just went through the roof with FIA endorsement.
Hahaha. €666 for the 2 pedal set isn’t bad I think
Ok... got my weekly abs work-out with the "crap sound discovery" section :P
ps. no worries, the sound is not bad :)
Hahahaha glad it brings some joy :p I was SO PISSED
I like how the marked the plate "baseplate"...lol like anybody would confuse if for a throttle pedal face.
Hahaha that would make the video popular for all the wrong reasons 😂😅
New video series? Using random items as throttle vs the wheel?
@@fireonmytarget8937 I have considered multiple times. Perhaps
some of us just like big brake face plates, what can I say?
@@tiagobelo4965 don't be ashamed of liking a big foot surface.
LD loved the first minute. The exactly how I am while iracing😂😂
Hahaha 😂😂😂😂
The plate looks exactly the same as the one for the ultimates plus .
Great vid 🤛 awaiting the long term review
Yep very similar
Thanks for the kind words

Hahaha thanks :)
I have a lot of moments like that intro.
Same… I don’t film most of them. And I was feeling like 💩 too when I filmed this. It just all got too much for me 😂😂😂
Tried these at Race Anywhere today, loved them!
For heel-toe, wouldn't it be possible to switch the clutch and throttle around? Not like, completely, but as in the "cast metal lever"...
Nope. Firstly, the cables won’t reach, but secondly, the pedal angles are completely different and it just doesn’t seem natural.
Hello, it's possible to invert pedals without changing cables. You have to activate "Inverted pedals (swap left/right connectors)" on the software :)
This looks so awesome!
They look great! Like they came out of a race car
If you have any questions don't hesitate :)
Looks like the real star of the video is Splat.🤣
Always 😂😂😂 she only loves the attention

They feel great but most pedals in this range are really nice

Where i can find the right Firmware Updater and Software for Windows 10

i got one of those, and trust me he's just after the box

Wow for real, I'm gonna guess before I see the whole video....super expensive. Lol
Haha did you see the price towards the end? €666 for the 2 pedal set which is good value
