As a young man of 21 I saw them play for the 4th. time in S.F. in the winter of '70 (or maybe it was '71) and this "Echoes" became my most favorite piece of music! I had been a fav fan of their music since '67 with "Interstellar Overdrive" fav from the 1st. album. But now at age 71 this is still my fav piece and band and guitarist in Dave!
Out of all the Live Wcho performances, This, I Repeat, THIS should be the Best One. I do like the thought " Why people have only 83k views on this Live video, when it shows the BEST ANGLES of Capture on THE WHOLE BAND

I saw this live at the AH in 2005 and was blown away. I feel so lucky to remember how it made me feel 1st hand but to be able to relive that feeling through UA-cam. Just phenomenal and perfect in every way. Reduces me to tears every time. ❤
It is said that David decided not to play echoes after the passing away of Wright. After listening to the musical conversation between them in the last minutes of this song, I knew why.

David Gilmour and Richard is god. David Gilmour best guitar player is the history.
And the only argument you need on why there will never be Pink Floyd without David and Rick, it would be an insult to PF legacy... I'll be just happy to keep listening to Roger and David on their own... they earned their space. They owe us nothing.

I saw them in Tampa, Too many moons ago. I think it was the Animals tour? It was in the early 70's?
