Hi Will, can you please explain the need of two initial glued layers for the black side? Is the black leather pattern so thin top grain?

True craftsmanship. Such a beautiful, elegant men's belt. It was such a pleasure to watch the video. Not a single word yet everything explained. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It is much appreciated. May you prosper in all that you do. Did you work with a single piece of thread? Is so how long was it (I'm very curious to know). Also could you share the name of your cutting knife supplier. Many thanks.

Nice belt. Nice neat job. The only thing I would like to note is its thickness. Either choose a different buckle, or make the belt thinner. It can be seen that it is difficult to climb through.

I’m remaking it slightly thinner and you’re right, it’s a little thin for my buckle

@@WillHodges wow it was a very valuable expirience i think!
I saw you used PU glue for this belt.
Is it strong enough in your opinion? Isn't better to use nairite glue?

Will, my son has very narrow hops and no ass so he has to sinch his belts so tugjtly that they stretch and oft tones break. He is a golf pronso I woukd like to make him a natural and a black belt, stylish but something that will not stretch and last for some time. Any tips or hinta?

25-30mm wide belt from a decent leather 3.6-4.5mm thick will work great. Important to get the size properly so he can wear it easily without damaging the leather.

    Will,
Your work on the equus stitched and raised belt is really remarkable ( ua-cam.com/video/lRe5DuoRZXg/v-deo.html ). Thank you, so very much for sharing it and offering to answer questions; my daughter and I are working together to follow in your steps. Some questions for the master:
    1. what types leather in what thicknesses?
    2. charlie in his vid splits leather at one point. is this key?
    3. you employ a heated iron on the edges. when related to paint, tokonole, burnishing?
    Thank you, Will.
    Blessings and merry Christmas,
    Hans
