This piece of music is a reminder that at all times we are saved - and God is within us.
During these uncertain and frightening times, Stopford"s work (based upon Isaiah 43) provided the reassurance and peace I needed, as well as the reminder, that God loves us with an everlasting love and is the creator and sustainer of this world and of our lives. I found the composition (written in the key of D with just one G sharp modulation) offers beautiful harmony and chord resolution to reinforce the message. A high-soprano descant can take us toward “angelic” heights as the piece concludes. Dr. JoAnn Rediger, formerly director of choral music and the Taylor University Chorale, included this work in the Chorale's repertoire performed throughout Greece in 2016 and recorded for the CD From Age to Age the Same.
This song fills me with such comfort and peace just knowing that everything will be okay.
The one phrase that is written in your holy bible exactly 365 times
Great idea! These types of lyric videos do a very good job of presenting works and help to make them as meaningful as possible to folks. Here's hoping that videos like these give folks the extra nudge to buy the sheet music. . . . And I don't know whether you have a hand in the selection of ads for UA-cam monetization, but I actually watched the two three-minute ads and enjoyed them! They happened to be rather appropriate ads for the subject of this video.

Exquisite! Deo Gratias~
Remarkable....beautiful! What is its performance history? BRAVI TUTTI from Mexico!
This was one of the first recorded performances of this piece. The choir of Truro Cathedral recorded a while album by Stopford, who had previously been an organ scholar there, called Do Not Be Afraid. Worth a listen in my opinion.
@@Musicliz1 -- Many thanks! I used to live near you while serving as Bailiff to The Chiltern Hundreds.....How are conditions there today?
