im a fan of the on location set ups! keep em coming
Sounds like a plan!! Thanks !
Nice❤️
Thanks!
I just wanted to say, your videos have been incredibly helpful. I have been trying to self-teach for cinematography, and lighting is such a huge subject and its incredibly daunting. Your videos have really helped me with understanding of lingo, use cases for specific gear, etc. So thanks for these! Really great stuff you are doing!
I needed every tip in these packed eight minutes because in five days I have to light a scene on short notice! That's amazing. I especially appreciate the tips on flags, which I admit to neglecting - such simple and useful items.
Well I read your mind of course! Thank you so much I’m glad this helps
This was super helpful, I truly appreciate the useful tip!! Question for you with your key light, could you also throw on say a light dome with a grid and get the same results if you couldn't do the book light?
I love your lighting but I’m definitely not a fan of that pro mist filter, personal preference
Personal preference is totally ok! Thank you b
Love the look my dude! And I think it was great doing the breakdown while on location. Awesome stuff as usual!
Hey Alex I appreciate you and also all the sick work you’ve been putting out
@@BradyBessette Thanks so much Brady, appreciate it!
Your videos are so useful.tq
Thank YOU
Hello, Thanks for video. Would be better if you add the scheme of lighting next time))
Well thank you for this! Will do!
Hey Brady, I have been really enjoying your content lately. I have been a long time subscriber.
One tip for you to include in your arsenal. When shooting commercial work to block light, I always keep in my bag a few plastic black party tablecloths. They weigh absolutely nothing and each one cost about .50 cents if you buy them by the box. You can gaff tape them to anything because they weight less than paper. In seconds you can make a floppy, a ceiling skirt, negative fill etc. they are incredibly versatile.
Cheers man, please pass the congratulations to your lovely girl. I didn't know she was so multifaceted. She killed it on that last video about the tubes. You are a bless man!
This is a great tip! I love it thank you so much, letting Sara know now!
Filming at my favorite coffee shop!! So much fun🖤 great video babe! super helpful and relatable topic!! so many opportunities come up last minute and it’s important to be prepared!
Hi love thank you so much!!! ❤️
This is super helpful! Thank you so much for the great advice! Please do more of lighting on short notice :D
Sounds fantastic thank you so much
Wow! You are so good at this!
Thank you very much!!
Way to 100k
All the best Brady
Hopefully one day!
Great video very helpful.
Thank you so much
Talk to me about that Fresnel attachment on your 600D? Is that an Aputure brand Fresnel? I've always wondered about mixing and matching other Fresnels with the 600D.
Thanks, Great job on the video. Also, like 99% of online lighting tutorials, you show how to light a person standing or sitting still. In most serranoes in video the person and or camera is moving. Please show how to light for movement?
The information in this video is amazing. As it is with all of your videos. But the mic distortion makes it really unpleasant to listen to. If you have Izotope RX or something with de-clipper, you may want to utilize that next time you record with a mask on.
useful and very good!
Thank you!!
Awesome brother .. no BS.. just the good stuff. Keep it up 👍👍💯💯
If I happen to be a well known filmmaker in the future by any chance , brady is going to have all the credits for sure❤
what's the coffee shop's @?
@uncommonvt !
Awesome job! I actually quite liked the cooler light too
Holy shit this was so useful. I feel like I'm watching college class for free XD
Super light settings
Thank you!!
Another great video, thanks man! 😎👍
Excellent video
Thank you!!
I love this, because 99% of my shoots are run and gun situations haha.
How did you manage to burn a hole into the CTO haha.
Lol having it very close to the chip once…. Don’t do it 😭
@@BradyBessette well I don't have fancy CTO's. I use cheap decorative transparent coloured paper, so it's okay if they melt haha.
Nice work👍
Thanks so much!!
thank you for your tutorials. i will apply these for my photography. been watching your tutorials for days now haha
Thank you sooo much for the support!
Please tell how to shoot a moving car scene at sunset or morning
thank your so much for your sharing ....
Thanks for sharing such nice content!
the lighting KING, great video man
i love it
thank you !
Great job! I'd block that bounced light on the left wall. Just for aesthetics purposes. Have a great day!
Yeah we were trying to keep the smallest footprint, since the shop was open at the time!
Such a valuable lesson, thank you cap!
Thank YOU
Love these vids:) could you also leave the WB at auto and correct in post?
You could yes, but I always try to get everything done in camera

It’s amazing , thanks for your videos 🙌🏻
You are welcome and thank you!
Brother, I have an urgent request to you. Please make a simple cooking video, and teach how to light that. Please.
Let me try to get it done fast!
@@BradyBessette Your videos are very helpful, thank you. Wants to know how to perfectly light the cooking ingredients.
Can someone tell me where can i buy that diffuser he used?
The half grid I got from LA Rag House!
Amazing, The only channel demonstrates, and explains all about lighting, great video...
Yes your videos always helpful 👏🏻
Thank you!!

Gracias amigo!!! Buenos noches!!

Hey there thank you so much!
Great content! Thank you so much for helping me improve the quality of my work. Highly appreciate your effort!
👌🏻
As always these videos are so great. Thanks Brady!
This is great, love seeing the process.
Great lesson as always! I got a quick question, I own a daylight balanced light and I’ve had a situation where the lights in the location were tungsten. Is there any way I can turn by light into a tungsten one? Thank you!
CTO gel is what you need. I only have daylight sources in my kit, but I always have 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and full CTO gel in my bag, ready to adapt them as needed.
Brady, love your videos, always learning so much ✌
Great vid!
Thanks!!
