"Reckless Love" Cory Asbury - Accordion Cover

I drove out to Oneonta, NY this past week to link up with my new friend Jack, to sell him one of my Roland accordions and he gave me this little Weltmeister 80 bass accordion as a bonus. Before driving home, I posted up next to this lake and recorded a quick video. "Reckless Love" by Cory Asbury has become one of my favorite songs and is one of the most moving songs I've ever listed to. If you get a chance, watch this video to the end...

It's been a while since I've played the accordion. My main accordion needs repair but the time off has helped me make progress on healing my shoulder. Lot of work left to do, but I'm feeling good and ahead of the curve going into the winter months.

Happy to hear you found some inspiration in this ❤ I used a basic shotgun mic that was on my camera and tried to ever so slightly rotate my body favoring the keyboard side to balance the sound a little bit. Nothing too fancy… I did have a dead cat windscreen on it too to help with the wind

I have a question.
I want the play a song with the chord (a d g). It must be the dsus4 chord, correct me if i m wrong.
How sholud i play this dsus4 chord on the accordion? Is their a single button or should i press all three bass button (a, d and g button)?
I m struggling.

I don’t know offhand but I would definitely refer to the free pdf “stradella bass extensions”, i believe the guy who made it is Evan Perry Giblin… I make mention of it in my “counterbass minor hack” video, I know you can find it in there. Good luck!
