- In this video we go over the brand new F8C Lightening and how you can unlock it with the Gold Ticket and the Platinum Ticket as easily and quickly as possible.

I honestly wasnt trying to get this ship and happen to stumble on a ticket. I didnt realize how big of i target i set on myself when i picked it up. Its a good ship and happy that i found it

been way busy due to work and played less substantial games and almost forgotten that i enjoyed SC, this def gonna get me back on it during the weekend, platinum ticket here we go!

I'm glad to see they added this ship for us to use. It was going to be my fighter ship but I thought I'd have to wait until after SQ42 to get it. I also really enjoyed the event as well, it was a fun and unique way to add it to the game while also keeping it somewhat exclusive and rare since you can't gift them and only folks who participated in the event or Concierge will have them until SQ42 comes out. Thanks for the video!
I love this event overall! Anything that keeps me in game and off the pledge store in a win in my books haha. Are you enjoying flying it around now? It's super fun to take that top turret and add it to the s3 hard points (using insurance fraud).

One more detail to add - you can get it after finishing squadron 42 too
That was for a long time the only known way to be able to get it (in the future with sq42 release i mean) besides being a wing commander
Thanks! There also seems to be a little bit of confusions on whether beating Squadron 42 gives you the ship, or just the ability to purchase it in game. Should be interesting to find out soon :)

Found the quote, he said it would be purchasable in the PU. Wonder if that means that it won't be purchasable with aUEC until squadron!
its a cool event but having to specifically find it on a dev is kind of a nightmare and a half.
I don't like that paintjob decision tbh, it's not so much about skill but sheer luck. The most of us won't ever see a dev online, nullifying the chance to even compete for a ticket
I agree in practice it's become basically impossible to get one of those platinum tickets. Would have been much more exciting if it was a rare loot drop instead. That being said, I still hope to see more items and achievements only attainable in game, hopefully with slightly less exclusivity in the future :)
@@Space-Tech It honestly would've been cool if it was a much rarer version of the gold ticket, also obtainable in loot boxes, but still with the server-wide hunt mission once you pick it up, that way everyone would have a chance running bunkers n stuff

Unfortunately only for a short while, but I'm sure it'll be back again soon!

could you not just tactor beam the dead dev to your ship, go to lorville then loot him in the hanger?

Do we know which loot boxes the gold ticket can be found in? How do we know it could be found in ANY loot box?
I've confirmed that people have found it in white, gold, and red crates. The only one I think hasn't been tested is the blue :)
I found mine in the jacket of a nine tails dude in a bunker mission
So I got a golden ticket and redeemed it, i was given a rental. I however am still not able to purchase the ship. Thoughts?
It should be available in a few days on Anvil day, it's not always available unfortunately

lol i have spent just 130 for the 42 squad and a cuty so many years ago and i thought it was too mutch. My respect for u, if u like something of course is normal to spent a lot of money if u have it tho. can u recomend me a good heavy fighter that i can pursache it in game?? No problem at all, your English is more than good :). Currently heavy fighters are in a little bit of a rough spot. If you can get a friend to join you then the scorpious is great, that and the hurricane can easily get the job done. If you are alone you could pick up the Vanguard Warden for solo PvE, or my favorite the Ares Ion/Inferno. They are not the best against smaller ships, but they are the most fun :)

This ship is OP and will likely get nerfed. Highest speed, top tier agility with the most dps. It completely unbalances pvp
