Discovered your channel a few weeks ago (the 63 kg motor tear down and melt). Been bingeing on your vids ever since. This is quality content my friend! Thanks for all the work you put into it - from sourcing the metals to the excellent video editing and everything in between! And your humor (humour?) shines through. Love it, love it, love it!!! Cheers from the states. RJ

Very nice! Smoothly poured, weighed, measured, accounted for... Full-on "pro-status" my brother. Not only a tip of the hat, but a standing ovation as well. Also, loving the stack and how much it has grown, but you will need to make more room soon... Seriously. It may be time to take some bits and bars here and there and make some things out of them... Or you could always remelt 2 or 3 bars and pour into one bigger one, to consolidate and make you some room to keep going another year. You could also cast up metals and machine the parts, and make little Ingie a guard house made of bling inside the vault room. . . have little copper tiles and aluminum tiles all nice and laid out, screwed to a framework for the roofing. Idunno... I got a BUNCH of crazy ideas. 😄. Anyways, keep up the great work, and the smooth pouring.

    Nice color.
Lots of dross. Is that from the aluminum or the because the zinc was overdone?

I always referred to this as Alumi-bronze. France actually had some coins minted with it. Italy came up with "bronzitol" for their coins, which had a bit of nickel added without the tin and zinc.

Can Nordic gold be forged? Annealed, stretched, fold formed, welded or soldered. Interesting material.

What slows the tin do for the alloy? I feel like such a small mass won’t affect color that much.
