Andy Timmons is simply phenomenal...One of the best, most melodic tones in modern guitar. And one hell of a genuinely nice guy! Continued success to Andy and thanks for posting from NAMM 2017 - you lucky dog :D
Love how he adds new harmony to his older compositions. Deliver Us, Electric Gipsy never get old. One can never get enough of Andy Timmons. His latest album, "Theme for a Perfect World" deserves a lot of credit and lots of listeners. His Sergeant Pepper's rendition is equally impressing. Kudo's Andy!
How can you not like Andy Timmons? saw him play Manchester a littlew whil ago and he was just phenomenal- and a nice bloke who actually answered one of my e-mails himself. How many musicians would bother to do that?
Its rare these day's to be original and not the same ol shit. Andy has been a breath of fresh air and deserve his rightful place among the elite.........
His live set seems to now be based around two of the Lonestar combo, while he used to play through Lonestar head and rectifier 2 x 12 cabinets. I am wondering if this is based on ease of transport, or open back as opposed to closed back. But as we all know, a guitar player's equipment evolves with his sponsors.... I met Andy when he was representing Laney Amplification.
I never get tired of Andy's playing. His tone and melodic sense just draws you in.
The king of tone never disappoints. How he mixes in the quiet, soft parts with the gain is truly an art within an art!!

Even if I had Lonestar and a JHS AT, I still wouldn't have anything close to his tone. It's from the hands and the soul!
Pete Hawthorne get his pickups.....makes a much bigger difference than you might even expect

Thanks for the video!! Man I love Andy's Playing!! What a great talent! I hope to see him live one day!!
Wow hadn't heard him live for quite a long time, he evolved even more what seemed to be impossible
The fact Andy can do this despite having had both Hyperacusis and tinnitus (I've recently acquired both...) gives me so much hope. What a guy.
Andy has this?
The Beast!

The bass has a great presence in Cry For You, too bad its volume was turned down too low.
Holy ! Sit!
Does andy use fender fatfinger? I can see a shiny thing on his guitar head.
no guitarist or musician can beat Tony Macalpine
