2:53 GIRL when I tell you I literally thought you were going to talk about my ride or die MIRACLE PATCH! I think you will love these even more than the COSRX!! [Disclaimer: I'm not a beauty girly or a brand girly. I recently got married (just under 4 weeks ago) and my skin looked so good - because your advice on brands and products helped so much!] It's by a company called Rael Beauty, they are so invisible that I've ACCIDENTALLY worn them to work multiple times because once they are on they disappear. They help heal my skin (even more so bc I'm an unintentional picker), and they do that white thing too! My fave part, though, is the patches are on a perforated sheet, so you can tear one side back and pick up the patch WITHOUT FOLDING ANY PIECE UNDER! Literally groundbreaking 😂 I'm in Australia and we can get it all the way down here on our Amazon, so hopefully you can get it all the way up there, too! Also, apologies if this is too ✨parasocial✨, but I proposed to my Chris (not being weird, its literally his name 😅) because of one of your videos. It made me realise that (despite swearing off marriage forever) when you meet your forever person, its an incredible thing to make a life-long promise to them. I'm so so glad I did. You probably wont ever see this, but I wanted to share, and say thanks for creating a video that just so happened to randomly find me on the opposite side of the world, at just the right time ❤️
You taking the time to type out all that, made me immediately go to amazon and look for these patches. I'm sold! Lol. Also Congratulations on your marriage!
My husband got me the shea butter for my hands last year after I saw it in your video. I have awful eczema on my hands (specially in winter). I regret it not even slightly. It's pricey, but it goes a LONG way, and it feels like heaven when my skin is inflamed. So, yeah, I back you up fully on that one.
And, yes, fellow eczema sufferers, get yourself a pack of cheap cotton gloves to wear overnight after you slap some of this stuff on. Seriously game changing.
I thought I was immune from being influenced until I found this channel. Rachel could sell be anything because I know she'll never try to sell me garbage. Happy holidays to everyone in the video and in the comments.
Clio is actually a really great Korean makeup brand. Which is why the matte eye shadows are subtle and the sparkles are amazing. Gotta love Korean makeup ❤
So happy to see this comment! Can't let Amazon take the credit for good makeup 🤭 I think a good video idea would be trying different Asian beauty! Rachel already loves the Clio eyeshadow & liner, as well as the Peripera lip tints. I think she could definitely find more AB faves, including skincare!
I gotta say, as i am soothing my baby who is on and off screaming tonight, I love your videos. Chill and entertaining. Helped me stay calm enough to soothe the baby to sleep. ❤
We are 100% with you on the L’Occitane cream. My husband has SUPER sensitive skin and most creams cause him to break out in hives but never this one. It is expensive but if you or someone you love has sensitive skin, it is just the bestttttt
For those who may not have Amazon or may be too expensive Clio, is a k-makeup brand, so most Korean shopping sites would have it (I only know of YesStyle and Olive Young) East Asian makeup brands I love so much more than American ones, mainly because they feel better on my skin
I've been using the bar of soap all year and love it. I stopped for like 2 months and noticed a difference in my skin that it wasn't as bright and clear. I immediately went back. It's a must have now.
❤ I love to put a cream on my hands and dishwashing gloves on when I’m doing the dishes. After the hot water, take off the gloves, and my hands are beautiful.!
@kcricket39 ohhhh i know they have something called Grunt foot powder that my husband uses in his boots, but I'm not sure about a lotion. I'm sure the Bloody Knuckles would work great on your feet, tho. Idk why I hadn't thought of trying it, but I definitely will be now! HAHA!
I have to share this story - I believe you shared the Clio eyeshadow palettes in the summer and I bought a few of them. I love the glitters in the mix and you confirmed which ones you wear on this video. I was at the grocery store today and got compliments from complete strangers today! Worth every penny!!
I was JUST telling my mom how much I loved the CT Magic Cream. I have a travel size of it for when we go on vacation. Well, we're on vacation, so I'm using it. It's so good. It makes my skin feel so good and absorbs so nicely. I'm trying to cut costs so I didn't reorder it. But I may now because i forgot how much i loved it.
I use similar acne patches to yours and stand behind everything you said! Would also add it’s good to put on painful ones as it helps with the pain (no idea why) and helps me from picking on them (yes, I am in my later 30s and still can’t control myself 😂), but for all my horsey girls out here, use them to go to the yard to protect from all the dirt there, highly recommend ☺️ thank you Rachel for another great video☺️
I have an ingredient recommendation to go with your shea butter or by itself, beef tallow. I started using it on my face at night as a mask because it's got some good nutrients and is very gentle on the skin. What I didn't anticipate was that the eczema on my hands would be completely gone within two days. I'd bet anything that you could find a tallow, Shea and honey balm on Amazon for a quarter of the price with three times the benefits
I have trouble finding perfumes I like and that don’t smell offensive to my husband. I recently got a travel size of the Kayali cherry and it’s amazing!! Love it!
I SWEAR, I currently have the la roche posay website open with $100 in my cart. Then I seen this video and I'm like wait let me watch it maybe she'll talk about a more affordable skin care and LOW AND BEHOLD the first thing was the la roche posay serum that I guess imma have to purchase now loooooll
I use their eye cream with the metal applicator and like it! I only use it in the morning but as en esthetician I have a ton of very expensive ones and still choose this for day :)
If you struggle at all with dry, sensitive, irritated, or texturized skin on your face or body, try the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm Vitamin B5 Soothing Therapeutic Cream! My face has truly never felt this hydrated and smooth with zero dry spots. It has been a complete transformation! I cannot recommend it enough!
You should try the cream from Marin for your eczema. I tried it on my bf, who has horrible dry sensitive eczema skin, and it healed his cracked eczema in like 2 days! It's expensive but works great! They also have a lip ointment/balm with a campfire smores scent that is super amazing and smells delicious!!
Finally I know what eyeshadow you are wearing! lol. Just in time for it to be out of stock on Amazon. But girl I scoured the inter webs and found it on Yes Style!
My daughter bought me the verb shampoo conditioner comes with 2 other things hairspray and a treatment. Then my other daughter got me a Wella treatment and Wella hair protection.
I love these favorites videos!!! 😍 I'm not so.eone who wpe ds a lit of mo ey on make up (or who wears it all that often) but last year I used the end of year favorites video for recommendations for my wedding make up, and can confirm, that sparkley eye shadow is great for a glam look 🥰
First time ever commenting on you video after 7 years. But i loved the patches you mentioned, until i tried the Cosrx Master Patch Intensive. Never going back ❤
I regret not buying the foundation brush from Shiseido back when you talked about it! It has gone up in price so much now, that I would feel stupid to buy it! 💕
Rachel! Have you tried the Ardell Professoonal Brow Glue Instant Lamination Lift?! I have incredibly unruly eyebrows as well and it’s the only thing that I’ve found that makes my brows LOCK IN for *literal* DAYS.
So I have some of these gems but now I want to buy every single other one! But literally a week before Christmas?! Rachel! I have already spent so much money! 😂
If you can find it, you should try the Milkshake leave in conditioner. Smells amazing and my brush will go straight through my waist length hair without any problem
Would you please do a demonstration of self tanner application on different areas so it looks as natural as yours and also which one better then others and why and smell wise and lasting capability. Many thanks. Happy holidays.
Idk why, but when you were talking about loccitane (idk how to spell it) shea butter, it gave vibes of an auntie pulling you to the side at a family christmas party and giving you advice on your ezcema
I use a lot of Kate Somerville, her eye serum is a must have for me, I will pay the absorbent price for it even if it’s not on sale. I don’t get the little white milia from it and I just notice such a difference it’s ridiculous. I do love Algenist, their retinal but it seems like if I stay on the same product for too long they stop working so I’m on my off time with them right now.
Oh please be careful with the Valitic Bar Soap - since its kojic acid it might lead to overexfoliation. I had a friend who used it everyday and developed dermatitis since it made her skin too thin. Kojic acid soaps are too popular in the Philippines since the country is obsessed with whitening products 😅
Have you tried the bioderma atoderm? I have just started using it on my face and hands and it’s the first cream that stays on overnight without being greasy, just dewy and nice. I used to wake up looking like a lizard. It has healed my dry cracked hands in like four days
Of course the Clio pallet is sold out right now 🤦♀️. The one item I’ve been wanting to know what it was for a while! Oh well there is another Clio pallet that has a glitter that might work that I’m gonna try!
I loved the CT Magic cream when I got a sample so I ended up getting the full size one and my skin ended up hating it. I think the fragrance perhaps is what was so irritating to my skin.
Love these end of the year videos!! Question-for the Amazon glitter eye shadow palette, do you find you need to use a glitter primer underneath, or does it work well with a regular primer? Thanks!!
I don't know why, but acne patches just don't work for me. They just irritate my skin, the zit is still there, but now there's a bigger red round circle, and I don't have particularly sensitive skin.
The white stuff on your acne patches is just moisture pulled from your skin reacting with the gel on the patch which plumps it and turns it white. It‘s not gunk from the clogged pore.
Acne patches are typically very small hydrocolloid dressings, which are a type of bandage that absorbs exudate coming from open wounds. They’re pretty commonly used in medical settings. So they do actually absorb!
Then why are zits completely flattened, and emptied when the patch is ready to come off? I mean, there IS white puss/bacteria inside a zit, so, where does that white stuff go when the patch clears it? The main ingredient in those patches is Hydrocolloid, which is for wound healing. It promotes wound healing, by absorbing excess fluid (acne fluid) from the skin. So yes, the white stuff on the hydrocolloid patches IS fluid from the zit. 🤦🏻♀️
I literally bought the LP serum after your review and I hate it 😭 it’s sticky and tacky, and somehow exaggerates every imperfection. So I just feel dirty Love LP otherwise but this was such a bad match for me
It would be great if rather than briefly showing the products, you could display them for longer or have them on the screen beside your head when you are talking.
Why would you use plain shea butter from L’Occitane unless they’re paying you or giving it to you? It’s $38US for 5.2oz. 🤦🏻♀️😂 I adore their hand cream, but you can purchase pure shea butter, or oil, from your local health food store for $14/$18US for up to 16oz. More importantly, those options, don’t have added scents, which might be contributing to the skin irritation. Speaking as someone with very dry skin, who lived in even drier Denver, I agree that shea butter is a fantastic solution for severely parched skin - and it’s also relatively affordable for most.

I looove their Kill Lash mascaras which are amazingly waterproof❤ Found them via @AlexandraAnele
So happy to see this comment! Can't let Amazon take the credit for good makeup 🤭

I love Clio, use it daily. The perfect every day shades and stays perfect.
I gotta say, as i am soothing my baby who is on and off screaming tonight, I love your videos. Chill and entertaining. Helped me stay calm enough to soothe the baby to sleep. ❤
The asian eyeshadows are really great with glitters. There’s so many formulations, Clio is one major brand but Rom&nd also has great ones.
We are 100% with you on the L’Occitane cream. My husband has SUPER sensitive skin and most creams cause him to break out in hives but never this one. It is expensive but if you or someone you love has sensitive skin, it is just the bestttttt
What makes it better than raw shea butter?
For those who may not have Amazon or may be too expensive Clio, is a k-makeup brand, so most Korean shopping sites would have it (I only know of YesStyle and Olive Young)
East Asian makeup brands I love so much more than American ones, mainly because they feel better on my skin
I've been using the bar of soap all year and love it. I stopped for like 2 months and noticed a difference in my skin that it wasn't as bright and clear. I immediately went back. It's a must have now.
What is the soap…cannot find it….thank you 😊
The jewellery ❤. The Eyeshadow the sparkles 😊.
❤ I love to put a cream on my hands and dishwashing gloves on when I’m doing the dishes. After the hot water, take off the gloves, and my hands are beautiful.!
If you like the Charlotte Tilbury Magic water Cream, try the beauty of joseon dynasty cream. Its very similar and much less expensive.
Duke Cannon Bloody Knuckles is an amazing hand cream, too. It's all I use for my hands, and I'm DRY as all hell! It's amazing
Does Duke Cannon have a foot cream, too? I feel like they should, and I desperately need a new foot cream!
HAHA!

I love the CosRx patches and have my daughters and son-in-laws addicted to them too.
Also, curious if you have a great quality but inexpensive sweatshirt/sweatpants brand. I am tired of ones that pill. Thanks for your help.
You have to try Haus Labs glassy rosette lip and cheek balm you will love this Rachel!

By all that is holy! I ask on every video I see it in, where is that red shirt from? It looks so cozy.
I was wondering too!

My daughter bought me the verb shampoo conditioner comes with 2 other things hairspray and a treatment. Then my other daughter got me a Wella treatment and Wella hair protection.
What eyeshadow are u wearing? It looks soooo gooooodd
Love, love, love your lip color in this video!!!! Happy Holidays to you and your family! 💞
Yup, that serum and Patrick Ta blush just went on my last minute wish list! These videos are my faves! ✨❤️
La Roche Posay Lipikar cream is a life saver for me. All over miracle worker, skin repairer, and the price is sooo good ❤
I love these favorites videos!!! 😍 I'm not so.eone who wpe ds a lit of mo ey on make up (or who wears it all that often) but last year I used the end of year favorites video for recommendations for my wedding make up, and can confirm, that sparkley eye shadow is great for a glam look 🥰
Omg I lovee your shirt that red is beautiful on you 😊 where did you get it?? Please tell me!!!!! 🙏
Hope you see this l comments Rachel. Apply your tan to your face by spritzing the product onto a makeup brush and buff over your face! Game changer
Nice! I use the method as my last step on the backs of my hands ❤
Great video! My makeup and skincare list just got a little longer 😂 have a great week! Hugs 💖
First time ever commenting on you video after 7 years. But i loved the patches you mentioned, until i tried the Cosrx Master Patch Intensive. Never going back ❤
Love your videos.😃 Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family!! 🎄
I didn’t know about the blush!!! ❤
I was just going through your old videos looking for the shea butter!!
I regret not buying the foundation brush from Shiseido back when you talked about it! It has gone up in price so much now, that I would feel stupid to buy it! 💕
Merry Christmas
Rachel! Have you tried the Ardell Professoonal Brow Glue Instant Lamination Lift?! I have incredibly unruly eyebrows as well and it’s the only thing that I’ve found that makes my brows LOCK IN for *literal* DAYS.
The clarins lip oil is shade *pitaya* … I bought at your recommendation and also LOVE it!
So I have some of these gems but now I want to buy every single other one! But literally a week before Christmas?! Rachel! I have already spent so much money! 😂
Yes !! I wanted to see a video from you before next year!!
If you can find it, you should try the Milkshake leave in conditioner. Smells amazing and my brush will go straight through my waist length hair without any problem
Hey Rach! Thanks for the great video! Wondering what your current favourite body self tanner is!? 💛💛
Loving Tan
I didn’t realize how much you influenced my purchases this year 😂😂
If you have eczema, you should give Marin a try - it’s seriously AMAZING and actually works
Hi! Necklace details please! Great video ❤
As always I love your videos! Do you have a link to the necklaces that you are wearing in this video?
Where is your necklace from? It is beautiful
Would you please do a demonstration of self tanner application on different areas so it looks as natural as yours and also which one better then others and why and smell wise and lasting capability. Many thanks. Happy holidays.
Love your shirt/jacket. Brand?
.
Idk why, but when you were talking about loccitane (idk how to spell it) shea butter, it gave vibes of an auntie pulling you to the side at a family christmas party and giving you advice on your ezcema
Have you tried Kate’s Exfolikate? Been using and loving it for years!
Would you be able to review the Victoria Beckham range please. It’s expensive for Australians, but I love the shimmer.
Great list. Have a wonderful Christmas.
Happy holidays

Love your necklaces where did you get them? Your list is fabulous!!!
I would like to know too.....
Any Hydrocolloid bandage will do what the pimple patches do , that’s what they are made off . We use them on wounds lots at work .
Love the videos but can you include prices more?❤
Curious... have you tried the giani faux eyelashes I have seen a lot as an ad on social media? I am curious if they are worth it.
Of course the Clio pallet is sold out right now 🤦♀️. The one item I’ve been wanting to know what it was for a while! Oh well there is another Clio pallet that has a glitter that might work that I’m gonna try!
Can we talk about your necklace!!! Gorge!! Where is it from please?? Merry Christmas xx
Yes please.....
Rachel: You must buy this!
Me: *add to cart*
14:59 It’s well known Korean brand (K beauty). CLIO. Not an Amazon brand.
Thanks!!
I use a glitter primer because the glitter is bigger ✨
Have you tried the Revolution dupes for the CT magic creams? Would love to know what you think, as they are supposed to be good dupes.
Where is your necklace from?
How is the lasting power of the full size kaylie perfume? I got a box set of samples and they smell wonderful but the scent doesn’t last long
1st here Deb from Scotland 🎉🎉
Thanks for this list.... can I know where your shirt is from? It's so cozy looking
I was wondering the same thing. I feel like I remember her testing it in another video but it was ages ago and I can't remember which one!
Commenting in hopes that someone might let us know!!
@jlcricket4055 i was thinking the same did a quick search on Amazon and it didn't come up
Still hoping to find our
Where is the necklace from?
24:31 my hair stylist uses this and recommended it to me. It does wonders to my hair and cuts down on the frizz.
Really early today😊😊😊
Clio is a Korean makeup brand.
What eyeshadow are you using?
Do you use the bar soap on your face?
Does anyone know if the L’Oreal glycolic gloss weighs down fine limp hair?
I'm curious - have you tried any of Allie's Ravie beauty products yet?
I don't know why, but acne patches just don't work for me. They just irritate my skin, the zit is still there, but now there's a bigger red round circle, and I don't have particularly sensitive skin.
The white stuff on your acne patches is just moisture pulled from your skin reacting with the gel on the patch which plumps it and turns it white. It‘s not gunk from the clogged pore.
I can’t comprehend how people don’t get it, I want to throw my phone 😂
That’s probably true, I will say as someone with cystic acne these patches seriously reduce inflammation and healing time, also they prevent picking:)
@ They definitely serve a purpose 👍🏼 I recently read from someone else who was comparing them to cold sore patches and I think I can agree.
Acne patches are typically very small hydrocolloid dressings, which are a type of bandage that absorbs exudate coming from open wounds. They’re pretty commonly used in medical settings. So they do actually absorb!
Then why are zits completely flattened, and emptied when the patch is ready to come off? It promotes wound healing, by absorbing excess fluid (acne fluid) from the skin. So yes, the white stuff on the hydrocolloid patches IS fluid from the zit. 🤦🏻♀️
Recently i have been going back to clinique
I wish I could afford that clio pallette but no 😢😢😢
Bar soap wrong link I think?
❤
I NEED to know what eyeshadow you have on. You wear a lot and I just can't figure it out. Please let know. Anybody know
She tells what it is in the video
@lynneaenglish2750 what is it? I didn't catch it. If you heard it, can you tell me so I don't have to watch it again
@ 14:50 she starts talking about it
@lynneaenglish2750 I found it , thanks
So weird easy blur is NOT matte on me.
😘😘😘😘
🎉🎉❤
I literally bought the LP serum after your review and I hate it 😭 it’s sticky and tacky, and somehow exaggerates every imperfection. So I just feel dirty
Love LP otherwise but this was such a bad match for me
Just fyi the boy smells is LES for Lower East Side
