I love the way your first concern is always the horse and their issues. Prince Charming is doing great and he's so gentle and well behaved. There are so many trainers out there that rush the process and make things worse. So happy he's got you to help him through his rehab. So many others would have sent him back to the auction. I admire your knowledge and skill as a trainer and care provider to your horses, but what I’m especially impressed by is your patience. Rehab requires keeping your eye on the goal so you can stick to the plan, and that demands you be patient and driven at the same time. You have that balance within yourself, which is why these wonderful animals heal so well physically and emotionally under your loving care. Truly enjoying your videos.

Wife..... What a great "first" little ride on PC. I just love how slow and easy it was, exactly what he needs right now, also gives you a little perspective on how he's going to be under saddle. Nice job Shae 😊 I must point out, did you notice Jiminy's face as you walked PC by him ?? @@lisastephens77 thank you! I’ve talked about and discussed his front right many times. After 5 vet appointments and thousands spent we are finally on track, but these things take time. Thanks again ❤️
What a sweet fella! You mount from the right side; does that make a difference? His hind legs are more "cautious" or "tentative" that his leading front. It sounds like your plan of throwing some horseshoes on him will strengthen his back legs. Learned a lot here. Your narrative is step-by-step very clear; thanks for taking in wonderful Prince Charming.💯
Yes, often times when horses start to heal they still remember the “pain”. This will take time for him to loosen up and learn how to use his body again. ❤️
What a beautiful halter I love that it's so pretty looks really good on him too yeah I'm so excited for you to be able to get started and hopefully all will go well I don't know I've never heard about this kind of stuff but it's interesting though how do these injuries occur? He seems to really be trying even though it is a little hard for him at least he's making a good effort can't wait to see how he progresses praying all will go well I believe it will you're always up on everything. Hope you have a blessed day thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to film these videos for us so enjoyable thank you
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and I do really appreciate all the information you give us it's just things I haven't had horses in the last 15 years so but when I had them I never knew of all this and I wished I had but it's just I really enjoy learning all this and I love seeing you at the options just to the different ways that you inspect the horses and show us what we need to look for I just really enjoy your video so much and I just thank you for taking the time and the trouble to explain everything to us and for the time that it takes to video and I appreciate it so much thank you for everything you do I hope you have a very blessed day.
I thought charming did well but I read some of the comments were saying his front leg looks lame. Now I'm worried , so I'll just ask you isi it ok? I love this horse I hope he's ok.
I’m not a horse owner but have ridden horses all my life and hung out and groomed the horses at a college stable only a few blocks from my house. You are so blessed and Prince Charming is too, to have found each other. Is it normal for his front leg to twitch the way it did when you turned him (after dismount) to walk back to the stable? Wasn’t sure if it was from a fly landing on him or if he has an injury to his front leg. I’ve never watched his gait or any other horses’s for that matter and was only paying attention since I know he’s in rehab but I thought he looked a little stiff (almost limping a bit) when he was walking around. He’s definitely a beautiful horse with a wonderful temperament. I love the way he sniffs your hair; so sweet. ❤️🥰
You are doing such a great job with him and he is looking great! The only thing that i notice, correct me if i am wrong, he looks sensitive on his front feet. I checked with other videos and i dont see it there. Just curious, i am trying to train my eye to see sornes etc. This not saying that i know better or that you are doing a bad job, because your doing a great job.
Yep! That’s why I said I’m putting his corrective shoes back on. He was always sensitive. You also haven’t seen a rider on him in the other videos and that’s why you are noticing it more. In my other videos I’ve mentioned he’s high/low consistently. ❤️
Are any of your horses from a k**l pen? Nothing wrong If not❤️ I just wonder where PC would be if you hadn’t bought him..? So happy you found him and that you’re taking the time to heal him carefully
No, I absolutely do not support kill pens. Local auctions are what keep them out of the kill pen. You should always purchase from there first. If you buy from a kill pen you’re just unknowingly funding the system.

@@lisastephens77 thank you! I’ve talked about and discussed his front right many times. After 5 vet appointments and thousands spent we are finally on track, but these things take time. Thanks again ❤️
What a great first ride!!! 🎉
It was so chill! ❤️
@@freespiritequestrian Excellent video! Thank you for your wonderful equine TLC and thoroughness in explaining the deep details.
Do you think he would neck reins 🤔 he's awesome and I really love how you handle your horses.🤠 Your a pretty awesome person also 🥰
Why thank you! No he doesn’t lol 😂
Hope you have a blessed day thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to film these videos for us so enjoyable thank you
They can happen just from playing in the field, same with people weird stuff just happens sometimes. Thank you ❤️
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and I do really appreciate all the information you give us it's just things I haven't had horses in the last 15 years so but when I had them I never knew of all this and I wished I had but it's just I really enjoy learning all this and I love seeing you at the options just to the different ways that you inspect the horses and show us what we need to look for I just really enjoy your video so much and I just thank you for taking the time and the trouble to explain everything to us and for the time that it takes to video and I appreciate it so much thank you for everything you do I hope you have a very blessed day.
That was auctions I'm sorry I talked to my phone and it doesn't always understand what I say
Certainly he seems quite happy you are up there. He’s attentive and I believe he’s trying to put his best hoof forward just for you.😉
I love that!!!! Thank you 😊
I love this horsemanship! Schae is amazing with all of the horses! I can’t get my phone to show how to subscribe to this!! Please help!
I thought charming did well but I read some of the comments were saying his front leg looks lame. Now I'm worried , so I'll just ask you isi it ok? I love this horse I hope he's ok.
Please read pinned comment…. Yes he’s okay!
Nice

Please see above pinned comment. Thank you! ❤️
@@freespiritequestrian a now i understand, thank you for your response
Nice!!
🐴💕
Are any of your horses from a k**l pen? Nothing wrong If not❤️ I just wonder where PC would be if you hadn’t bought him..? So happy you found him and that you’re taking the time to heal him carefully
No, I absolutely do not support kill pens. Local auctions are what keep them out of the kill pen. You should always purchase from there first. If you buy from a kill pen you’re just unknowingly funding the system.
What do you think he did to hurt his ligament?
Literally could have been anything. We do know it happened over a year ago.
omg so fun
