Hello! I'm an old girl (61) with short, straight hair. I haven't curled my hair since I stopped using hot rollers 20 years ago. But I love how your hair turned out, and I'm inspired to try rolling my hair again! Thanks for this helpful video. I'm not very savvy with hair, but your video gives me the courage to try something new.
Missouri Mom that is awesome! So happy to hear it was helpful! Yes try experiment! And remember if it doesn’t work it can always be washed and tried again another day
Thank you so much! I just ordered these having no idea how to use them based on a random memory that popped up of my drama teacher in high school using them on her daughter's bob for shows. This is the first video I've found of someone curling actual short hair, and you actually showed how to use the curler with short hair, which I appreciate so much!
Mine was cut similarly to yours in the video back in August but with an undercut shave from just below my temples down. Then my stylist went on hiatus for her son's senior year so now it's a little too long for me and I don't trust anyone else to cut it. I was thinking curling it would help trick me into feeling like it's shorter for a while longer. I really think your technique is exactly what I need and I've got to find those mini Velcro rollers!
Revisiting this video bc I just ordered these rollers and a cute scarf. I love wearing my hair curly/wavy but am trying to avoid heat where I can so I'm eager to try these! I generally use a leave-in conditioner as my setting solution.
I was so happy to see this tutorial come up . I just ordered pillow rollers from Amazon , so I am just waiting for them to arrive :) I can't wait to try them out now . I usually use sponge rollers , but sometimes they pull at the hair , and my hair is very thin and fine , so I don't want any getting pulled out :) So from what I have seen and read , everyone says these are super comfortable to sleep in . So this video couldn't have come at a better time . Your hair style turned our so pretty . Thanks for sharing this with us . :)
yea! so glad it was helpful my hear is really fine too, and I'll say this sometimes sponge rollers really dry it out, these seem a great alternative! let me know how they work out for you
These work great I do think they are better on larger sections of hair I can not use them on wet hair - takes days to dry due to the cushion I have fine hair and not a lot of it either which takes less than an hour to dry naturally
You look awesome! I love your final look! My roots are the same color as your purple (my hair is longer so I have purple, blue & teal hair)-I just bought some of these pillow rollers and a large scarf so I can ideally set my hair at night. Do you use setting spray?

@@taryngarrette2369 my mini velcros were at a small black owned beauty supply but Amazon likely has them look for 1/4 inch Velcro rollers
I will check our local shop and Amazon! Thank you so much!
@@taryngarrette2369 good luck 🤩

Oooo...I like the curl you got from these babies. May have to look to invest and play...
thank you i think these are my favorite curling method right now
These work great
I do think they are better on larger sections of hair

I have fine hair and not a lot of it either which takes less than an hour to dry naturally
You look stunning!
I just can't bring myself to do my hair everyday, but it looks so nice on you :)
thank you, I don't do mine everyday day either, i only set my hair once a week or so the rest of the time I wear my natural wave

thank you! it depends sometimes i do setting spray sometimes mouse
Those look so easy to use -- I wonder how they'd work on my shoulder-length hair.
i think they would work even better, but you might need two sets
Daena O. They work fine even on longer hair
This looks a good smooth curl ...which is better foam rollers or these or would you say theres not much differance?
i think they give similar results but pillow roller are easier to sleep in and dont have the plastic bits to leave dents
I think you look so pretty ❤
Thank you 😊
As always a great style, 😊 now the hard part for me is letting my hair grow out 😂😂😂😂
rosedeveny I'm still trying to grow mine out stay strong:)
