- TALLAHASSEE, Florida - When it comes to Ron DeSantis, conservatives generally see him as a no-nonsense crusader, fighting the liberal agenda as governor of Florida.
"I don't think there's any elected official in the country who's not only stood up for the values that we all share, but has actually beat the left back on these things," DeSantis told CBN News.

True faith? A man of true faith would never claim for himself that he is the "only elected official" who stands for the right, etc.... If by true faith you mean being a born again Christian, de Santis is Catholic, and if you are a good Catholic, you should know that such a presumptuous claim falls under the category of sin of pride. And, you don't need de Santis to lead your home (Colosians 3:18~21, outlines the Christian family dynamics), unless you feel that de Santis is your husband, a thought that you really do need a lot to pray for...

I am a LOT older than DeSantis, and went to many catholic schools and mass every Sunday at one point, and not once was a Bible read to us; and I didn’t even own one, and it was not encouraged back in my day… I think he might be telling a porky…

Saying that you are spiritual but not religious means you believe in a higher power or some force in the universe and you do things like meditate, but you don't confess Jesus Christ. A lot of celebrities say they sre 'spiritual but not religious,' for instance.
Catholics are ‘religious’ and are without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which is mentioned in scripture. We who are born again Christians are Bible believing and followers of Christ and not man, for man is fallible.
God doesn’t want ‘religious service’ but rather wants relationship with His creations, as we are all precious to Him…
They will say what they think people want to hear. Not just him but the others as well. Are Christians supposed to be in politics? Are women supposed to be pastors? Think about it.

I've supported both Trump hugely and recently Vivek. I'm starting to feel convicted as a Christian. He's definitely not looking good in polls but God is famous for using the little guy and raising him up.

Trump has had a life long pattern of immorality in his mumerous relationships with women & playgirls. I was born and raised Catholic. I became Born Again in college. However, since I was 8 when I started praying nearly every night and I always wanted to know who God is and to live for Him! I didn’t ever pray to saints excepts once did I say Hail Mary when my priest told me to after confession. So, seeing that he reads God’s word and believes in Jesus may lead him to an even deeper relationship. @@G-MIP You are not quoting scripture, but catholic dogma. Sola scriptura means "only scripture" for true Christians. God gave pastors, teachers and evangelists to build up and equip the saints ( believers) and to spread the gospel throughout the world. Therefore we reject the pope and priesthood. Jesus is our representative here on earth through His Word and by the Holy Spirit. The priesthood was done away with already before Christ was born. Read the book of Hebrews for a better understanding on this matter. Jesus is our prophet, priest & king. No other takes his place.
