  • The fabrication on the back of our Toy Hauler, Toterhome, Skoolie is almost done. The last fabrication project has to do with the wheel wells. Watch to find out how I solve this fabrication puzzle of how to park a vehicle over these huge wheel wells. Drop a comment below and let me know how it turned out.

    These videos have been very entertaining and helpful in my own build. What gauge floor plate did you use for your over fender ramps?

      @@chris3432 I'm pretty sure it's 1/8". I'm glad I could help you out

    Love the concept of the dove tail. If it was I, tho I would have used it to park the car on, and kept more of the living space. Would that been feasible?

      Ya definitely, but I built it to carry a car and a golf cart at the same time. Thanks for watching

    Wouldn't you want to fully weld that? won't road spray get up and in between the welds?

      That is a good point. Maybe I should have

    Do you feel like all the work to lift the roof was worth it now that it's done? It seemed like it was pretty tall inside before and appeared to be a whole ton of work!

      It was only 6 feet tall I'm the bus before I raise the roof and it would have been cramped in there once I put sub flooring and everything Plus I need the height in the back to load taller vehicles. Definitely worth it. Could have done 18" or maybe 16", but your limiting the height of the vehicles you can load on the back.

    Hi, with weight on it, do the rear wheels need that high a wheel well? Could it have been cut flat?

    • @DJsHotRodFab
      @DJsHotRodFab  Рік тому

      I cut them down quite a bit. Could have been an inch or so shorter, but definitely not flat. Thanks for watching. Are you building a bus?

    How long is that bus? What would you charge for the same conversion?
