My Livestrong band that I wore for years pretty much non-stop just snapped today.. I'd sort of gotten a bit tired of it, but now being without it just doesn't feel right. I liked wearing something that supported a great organization, and telling curious people it's purpose always made my day. Sadly I don't know if there's anywhere I can buy another one in Finland, but if I find one while abroad I think I'll have to buy it. My best wishes to Lance and all cancer patients of the world.
And also, I believe the commercial has been released long before 2004. Lance Armstrong was diagnosed on on 1996 and right after he was treated, he developed the foundation. So this commercial came out around the very late 1990s.
Well. They used to give them out for free at footlocker when you purchase any pair of shoes. and the portion of the money goes to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. But they do not selling them in stares that much anymore. You might be able to find some at Dick's Sporting Goods because they are a official Livestrong seller. It really isn't about the band, I see it as the donation part. But the bands are cool too =)
i like the way there made to.. everything to do with lance is awsome. i hope when he's back in 2010 he wins the tour. His team will be in the LArmstrong Foundation colours, with Nike and electronic factory sponsoring him. Him as manager. In 2010 we will see one of the best tours since the LArmstrong 7wins.
I remember back in 2004, when these bands just came out. I even had several at that time, but I unfortunately lost them all. Where can you find them besides the online store?
@SvalbardJanMayen1976 they would be made in china because it would be so much cheaper. If they were made in a western country you might only make 50p profit on each band for example. Making them in china you probly get close to 90p if not more. More money towards cancer research etc. So do you still want them to be made in the US?
It would be good if the bands were really made in the USA, rather than China. I support more things being done with US labor, even if the cost is higher. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that the bands are not really made one-by-one like in the video by Americans.
sorry to the people who watch this video and support lance, its not faire u see people argueing on this comment section, after all lance is above all of that. viva le LANCE/TOUR/FRANCE
Oh, and I never made the implication that I had a religious superiority complex, so I don't know where the heck you're getting that from. Hell, I'm more of an agnostic than an atheist.
They should bring this commercial back. It was truly inspiring.
i feel the same way man, for every product, it has a different feeling when u know it was made in ur own country
I remember seeing this in theaters in 2004 and wanting one so bad.

Yeah. They don't do it any more. Foot Locker really brought the bands out into the spot light.
I wear mine every day, I never take it off, I make sure I have backups to make sure if one breaks, I will never take it off.
I am sure that is exactly the same way the Chinese people made my BAND!!!

Yellow for unity. to light us all..cool!
i bought a band the other day! it will be worn with pride everywhere, even to afganistan when i go on duty :)
I have to agree with both other commenters. While LiveSTRONG is a global effort, it is based here in the US.

stand your ground dude !!!!

I will send you one if you like. It would be my pleasure.
I wear mine everyday, and love the video, and I am a HUGE supporter, but inside the wristband, it says made in china..... that should be changed!
It appears that there's been a misunderstanding.
@seanjr19 they r coming back in style in my school
true dat

Am I right in thinking that this ad is playing on the claims of lance dopeing?
That'd be great, but I imagine the shipping will be pretty expensive. One of the downsides of living in Europe :)
