Does anyone else not find it crazy that this whole concert is him, his guitar, and a loop pedal? There is nothing else to mask him or bail him out when he makes a mistake. That shows that he is one of the greatest musicians of our time.
Also the fact that he manages to still be visually interesting on his own. It can be weird as a musician to not have a band behind you, but he looks super comfortable and he's still moving around and interacting with the audience... Crazy.
I'm 57. I've seen many genres of music come and go. I've seen many special musicians come and go. But I have NEVER seen anybody as good as Ed Sheeran. I'm SO pleased the youth of today have Ed in their lives. You don't know how lucky you are! What an inspiration he is. Totally gifted in every way. I even like the fact he hasn't got 'pretty boy' looks. Awesome. Thank you.

You're right. People think his loop pedal is a trick, easy to use. But, it is an instrument, like a guitar, or a trumpet or whathever you want. And, it is VERY difficult to use it live like he does. In Italy there is only one singer who can do it. His name is Alex Britti, which is also one of the best guitarists in the world.

I wanted the concert to be live and not "living it through my phone" And I am so glad I did. He's amazing live! If anyone hasn't seen him yet I fully recommend it! The atmosphere he creates at him concerts is not compared to anything else and can't actually be recreated through video! He's Pure Talent!!
FINALLY! Not a mindless nub with a freakin phone in front of their face. You are wise to take the show in as it comes instead of viewing REAL LIFE through a cell phone lens. So much happens with live music...moments are created and things happen when you can connect with a song let alone a whole show. Music is magic. That's the mistake i made in the 1d concert. And then the video wasn't even good. I don't watch them and I've survived so unless i get really good stats i won't do that when i see him.

You can perform solo, one man band with ease! I LOVE guitars and getting to hear you play while you are performing is EPIC!!! if you can find videos from a couple festivals hes played recently (t in the park and glastonbury) then hes done thinking out loud and im a mess live at those. hes also done all 3 songs at different radio shows which im sure are on youtube - though photograph ive only heard once or twice, but hes played the other 2 quite often
nobody in the audience knew how blessed they were to see this shit live , the guy has vocals and rhymes not to mention musical skills like what more could you ask for in an artist ? oh he writes his own music too :)
This man is on another level entirely. Imagine writing hundreds of songs and then performing them by yourself for an HOUR AND A HALF AT THIS QUALITY, THE WHOLE TIME.
Most rock and metal bands are usually much much better live (although the most over produced sometimes don't). I implore you to go and listen to DragonForce fury of the storm live, or fear of the dark by iron maiden live.

Absolutely! I saw him live a few weeks ago in Austin, TX and it was just an amazing show!!! He looked a tiny bit tired up close and I was that close. That 5 month old is probably teething, Ed's all grown up now! He still put on just an AMAZING show!! What gets me is when he all of a sudden realizes the crowd loves him or (they) he like(s) a certain thing he just did and he gets this shy grin, just a combination of humility, joy and also confidence in his gift. The joy he has in what he does, is beautiful and contagious. I walked away feeling inspired. I cannot wait to see him 2 more times on this tour!!! I'm a lifelong fan. 🥰❤
Was a casual fan of Ed in the beginning until I saw this way back in 2014. Had no idea this was how he performed live and was absolutely blown away and became obsessed. Came back today to start 2019 off right.

That's the mistake i made in the 1d concert. And then the video wasn't even good. I don't watch them and I've survived so unless i get really good stats i won't do that when i see him.

if you can find videos from a couple festivals hes played recently (t in the park and glastonbury) then hes done thinking out loud and im a mess live at those. hes also done all 3 songs at different radio shows which im sure are on youtube - though photograph ive only heard once or twice, but hes played the other 2 quite often

Absolutely! I saw him live a few weeks ago in Austin, TX and it was just an amazing show!!! He looked a tiny bit tired up close and I was that close. That 5 month old is probably teething, Ed's all grown up now! He still put on just an AMAZING show!!
What gets me is when he all of a sudden realizes the crowd loves him or (they) he like(s) a certain thing he just did and he gets this shy grin, just a combination of humility, joy and also confidence in his gift. The joy he has in what he does, is beautiful and contagious. I walked away feeling inspired. I cannot wait to see him 2 more times on this tour!!! I'm a lifelong fan.
