An additional item that could be used with the front or rear receiver, is a Winch Cradle for
2 inch receiver. Winch can be used at either end if ever needed for a winch to pull you or someone else out of a stuck spot. And stores out of sight when not in use, a bit bulky depending on the size. Warn, Rough County, even Harbor Freight has them. Or a "Load Extender Truck Hitch Support Haul Ladder Lumber Rack" could be handy.
I would not have the Goal Zero. For the price of that I could install a heck of a solar system and then some. I have 400 watts of solar with three ways to charge and have never ran out of power.
I absolutely agree a better system can be built for cheaper, but at the time we bought it we knew our setup would change and we wanted to be able to keep our investment. Plus the small platform is nice in our truck camper. 400w of solar would be nice!
You should make a detailed video.
My guess is you’re going to Florida to beat the cold weather! Safe travels and may God bless.
Not yet! Gotta get really cold first… ha!
Looks like a great set up, and looks like all systems are go can’t wait to see your first video back on the road.
Thanks Daryl! We’re so glad to be back on the road and can’t wait to be posting twice a week again here soon!
very good your videos. I'm building a camper and the information is very important.
Glad it was helpful!
Yay!! Back on the road!!!
So glad we are!
Great seeing you getting ready to hit the road. Your rig is really looking good and looking forward to your next on the road adventure. I have the Lectric 2.0 which has been great but the new 3.0 looks sooo much better. Best of luck with them!
Glad to hear you like them! We can’t wait to use ours and hoping they help make this lifestyle even better!
Throw a winch behind that bumper! Looking awesome!
Considered it! Wasn’t quite in the budget this time but definitely have their benefits!
@@LivingLargeCamping looks like there’s a slot to add one later!
Safe Travels and God Bless America 🇺🇲 🇺🇸
Thanks Dave!
Great information for other camper fans.
Thanks! Hopefully it helps someone!
We have those bikes!
How do you like them? Can’t wait to use them on the road!
What turn buckles are those?
The price on those fast guns is ridiculous to me.
They’re the torklift springload XL turnbuckles. We hardly take the camper off the truck so the extra cost of the fast guns seemed to be a waste. They’re pricey!
Why did you connect the goal zero to the 12 v only ? You could connect it to the AC plug and have power to every outlet in the camper not only the 12v
We don’t use many 120v appliances so it’s just easier to use the goal zero plugs!
Hey what year was the old white truck? Which bumper did it have from Peacemaker? I currently have a 99 F250 cclb with the 7.3. Previous owner installed a ranch hand type bumper on the back. The outlaw front bumpers look like a decent match.
2001 f350, also had the 7.3. It was an outlaw premium from peacemaker as well. Awesome bumper and even better truck! Should have never gotten rid of it
@@LivingLargeCamping for shame! Lol thanks for the info, I'll check it out closer.
Love this video!
Thank you!!
Are you going to Super Bowl LVII on February 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona?🤔
Nope, that would be fun though!
Did you use a turnbuckle system specific to campers? Or did you just scale to the load rating you wanted?
The torklift system is specific for truck campers, and its been fantastic
I have a 2019 Ram 2500 and I’m picking up a 1999 Lance 815 on Friday! How does your truck handle yours and did you have to do any suspension upgrades? Thanks!
Handles it flawlessly! Should be great with the 2500 as well. No suspension upgrades for us, just the forklift frame mounts. Let me know if I can answer any questions along the way!
@@LivingLargeCamping thanks so much!! Also installed the torklift draw mounts!! Thanks again!!
Y’all are greatest I am jealous 😅
I, too, am jealous…YOUR vid’s are…ABSOLUTELY AWESOME…I SO LOOK FORWARD to future vids!! 😃😃👍🏼👣👠
Thank you for the support!
that bike has maybe 30 mile range at best!!
We’ve yet to put a whole battery through it, but hoping for a little more than 30 miles!
When I was your age I had to work ? I guess you make enough from UA-cam not to work ?
There are remote jobs these days boomer.
