Whenever I listen to this one, I get a feeling of emptiness, anxiety; large void that I'm not trapped in, but part of. It makes me tremble. Maybe it's some personality disorder I have, but let me tell you what, there are few sounds that make me feel this way. The unpredictable beat won't let you read and understand it, then the strings give you remorse for an invisible object you can't put your finger on. Where am I going? Where else is there to go on from here? Where is "here"? Could I do anything if "here" was in the middle of nowhere? Could anyone reach me? Could I be completely detached? Would familiar things ever be of importance at all? How?
Filthy Weaboo good music is just like life. It can make you empty, and alone, and it can also bring you great joy. For most of us we are drawn to what makes us feel sad because it is compelling, emotion is compelling, and sadness has more magnetism than joy, especially if you have depression. The best thing any of us can do is try to lift ourselves up, so that we may help others. But to lift ourselves up we must admit what is wrong with us, truly. Only then will we find salvation. You are not alone my friend, you are great and a apart of the great oneness that is humanity. Together we will conquer, but first, we must all look within. I hope you have an amazing day today, and all days :)
Filthy Weaboo I love your way of thinking and your interpretation of Fat Jon's music. He has the same effects on me. His music has so much emotional depth to them, though a lot of his fans simply pass it off as just "chill" or music to have sex to. It has a lot of hidden sounds and harmonies that bring out more emotions than just chill or sex. A lot of sadness, emptiness, thoughtfulness, emotions, etc.
I'm glad to see there are others who appreciate Fat Jon like I do. It seems as if he's trying to use music as a language for emotion. Every piece has a unique energy, and it pulls me into new states of mind. There are just a few comparable artists. If you like Fat Jon, I strongly suggest that you check out jhfly. His music also speaks to a domain of emotion.
This is what I love about this kind of music. It's the foundation for your brain to build something upon. I've always just casually listened to it while going through the Samurai Champloo soundtrack, but now that you mention it, it does have a very sinister and looming vibe to it.
@Filthy Weaboo For me,when I listen to it,i always imagine something so dreadful and so dark, something that go beyond my understanding and something i’d rather not know what this is about. That is the feeling I get when I listen to this song.
I rarely sub to music channel, i prefer to put the song I like in a playlist. But your channel is just so good when I need to work, draw, relax that I subbed yours. I wish I could buy your edits in shorter versions. Nice work bro ! I wish all the best for you in the future, have an happy Christmas !
Before you ignore this, think that noone made it to the top without starting from the bottom. Im gunning to escape the cyclical cycle, and to connect with great people across the Universe and takeover the world with my music. Im building a teams of Animators, media artists, and producers I slept so much on fat Jon's music so much, but the song "Feel The Void", woke me up. It inspired me to make a song on it @. Just wondering what you all think of it.
I really wish I knew the sample for the strings in the background...so pretty but sad. Thanks for the edit! :)
Those strings are just sooooo sinister.
I can hear Kariya coming

have u find it? i would like to know too, thanks :)
For anyone who wants it to be played in normal pace. Switch its speed to 1.25x
I just realized that if you play the song at 1.25 speed it pretty much sounds like the original.
Omg thankyou. I mean. Still pitched down but close enough
I'm here from coryxkenshin new vid
the background and the music, they combine so perfectly, i can feel the composition, the gradience, the free space, the trascending.
Blasted through Berserks golden age arc with this as my soundtrack
