Hi Brandy! I'm so grateful for this and your other videos! Short question: do you know why my checkout page doesn't show when i put /buy? It says I'm in preview mode and you would need to create an account to get to the check out. Can`t i get to the checkout without this step? (I'm on the monthly mover plan) Thanks a lot!
My guess is you need to publish the page and then actually go to the webpage and try it out :)
Would love a canva tutorial on flat lays.. I really just don't know what to type to search in canva for the laptops and phones where you can insert a picture. Loved this tutorial. Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing this, Brandy. I’m about to launch my first course on Podia and you’ve taught me so much. As a newbie who only has one course, I’m guessing I need to elaborate the course sales page as you explain here, and have the Podia homepage as a kind of ‘pretty placeholder’ that is linked to the course salespage, right?
I think if you just have 1 product you could use your homepage as your sales page… just think about how you want to use your Podia site. If it is JUST for that one course that would definitely work! If you want to use it for multiple products or as a webpage as well you may want a home page.
PS. You can also customize the thank you page now which is AMAZING!
Hi Brandy, this tutorial is amazing! I was just wondering if there has been an update, because my Product-Edit-page looks different. My menu options ar: Lessons - Details - Pricing - Availability (instead of: Contents - Settings - Pricing). And I would really love to add "buy" to the URL, but I don't know where to find it now. It is not in the Details section.....
Hi Jolanda, Podia does updates quite frequently. I would go to Podia and use the chat feature to ask them your question!

They do have upsells available. It isn’t as thorough as a funnel software but they do have it.
Hey there! Awesome video! I’m an online creator and language teacher as well and I’m seriously thinking to switch everything from my Wix website to Podia as I’m launching some online courses BUT I don’t really know what to do...
Do you think it is still worth to have a website + another platform for courses? Considering that I post a lot of content on social media, what would you do?

Hey! That is a fair question! What I would ask myself/consider:
- is podia able to give analytics on how many ppl are visiting your site(can you run Google analytics on it) - ask Podia about this
- if you ever want to run ads, can you put the pixel on your podia site (again check with Podia)
- what were you doing on your six site? Was it just a landing page or did you also have a blog etc?
What size is the canva square, where you have your modules pictures?
I believe it is 1080x1080 (IG post)

I am in the edit section of Podia sales page. I had uploaded a video there. I want to download that video from the edit page. When I right click, I dont get any option to save video file. How to download video file which is already uploaded to sales edit page ?

Just wondered how you are all handling VAT with podia. When you sell a digital product to a customer based in the EU - uk, spain, france etc are you collecting the tax
I haven’t sold any in the EU so haven’t had to deal with this - I saw your question on.my other video as well. I would use the chat function and ask Podia customer service....
And it doesn’t matter if YOU are in the EU or not, it’s based on the location of your customer

You can… use the buttons to link to purchase each course :)
Hi...thank you very much for your videos..I'll like to know if Podia has a limited quantity of selling ebooks? Like for example I wanted to use Gumroad and I was told they have a limit in quanitties...and the other question is if Podia also collects the money and transfer's it to my bank account? Can you also make returns if the client changes their mind? Thank you.
No limit on sales. You can collect money through podia but you have to connect a stripe or PayPal account for it to get processed through. I believe you also process refunds through stripe or PayPal.

Hi Brandy! Did you ever create a tutorial on using Canva images/text with the Podia sales page? I'm finding it hard to get a polished look-but am not sure about image sizes (image+text), responsiveness, etc. thanks!
I haven’t done any Canva tutorials on my UA-cam channel - most of my images are the Instagram template size. I do have the mock-up templates for sale on my podia site for $5 if you want to save yourself some time brandydudas.podia.com/canva-mockup-templates
@@BrandyDudas Thanks, Brandy! I was unclear. I'd like to get a little fancier with the text on the Podia sales page. Its design function is limited. So, I was hoping to create an image + text within Canva and use it on the Podia sales page.
This is probably such a basic question, you wouldn't even think anyone would have to ask! :-). But I didn't know what would be an optimal size -- and Podia doesn't seem to know what I mean. :-)
@@GinaPeraADHDRollerCoaster oh I understand but I'm not sure on the correct dimensions. I use canva's 'resize' feature and just try a variety of sizes until it looks ok

Hi! I have a problem with payments, please help! I have an active account on PayPal, but my clients can't pay for my online course, they just appear as visitors not paying customers. What am I doing wrong?
