Love, love, love Eric Dickerson! Rams O Line, Coach John Robinson, and Eric were heaven together. Too bad Rams front office were not equally as high quality, or man.... history would have been WAY different for everybody!
Dickerson was by far my favorite player back in the day. He gets a little overlooked in best of all time discussion, but he was as good as anybody ever. Loved watching him play. He does a really good job as football analyst.
so true about how they pay QBs. a quarterback can have ONE good year. then get PAID$$$$$!!!! then live off that one season for the rest of their career. any other position, it takes two or three good years to ask for a new and bigger contract. and they MIGHT get it.
Very legit point and a fact - QBs get paid even when they’re mediocre or only shines in one season, the nfl salary structure favors the owners and leave no leverage for the players... don’t know who’s running the players union but they don’t know how to negotiate; only screw the rookies...
Such a great interview. The Rams were never the same after they dealt him. Thanks Dan.
Class act
Dexter Manley should be in the Hall of fame. He was the most dominant end in his era.

Eric Dickerson got a bad reputation for simply wanting to get paid what he deserved from the Rams & having a healthy ego

Best running back I ever saw. Rams went to playoffs with Jeff Kemp and Dieter Brock as his QB's. Great interview.
Great listen at work and watching it now.

He has great insight...

The smell of the air during football season...every fall reminds me of when I played!
I get to meet him today !!
One of the best to ever do it! It's a shame that he never won a super bowl or even made it to the super bowl, but that's life!!
Exempt qb's from the salary cap. Lol.
