I was thinking the same thing on the freezer/coolers going out, but, why not let the employees take some of it home? I know they write it all off as a loss or whatever, but to throw it away without trying to donate it is just wasteful and ridiculous
No.. they are remolding all there stores to become something like mini Walmart stores. I live in Georgia and mine through out the whole freezer section. I got all the same stuff, still frozen.
There are so many families around the western world who are struggling with being able to put food on their table.. I wish they would find out about dumpster diving. You could eat for free for years..

I hope you got a lot of the milk! I would be happy with the Silk milk. Isn't Silk soy milk not Almond? Plant milk of any kind is great! I feel bad about the milk being dumped. Cows are forced to get pregnant so they will produce milk. Their calves are taken away from them at birth.If it's a male calf it will be killed or used for veal. Female calves are put on milk replacer and never see their mothers.They are raised to produce milk too. The cycle is repeated. Mother cows cry for days for their babies!!!!

I used to find the same thing every Friday that u found.Pizza.eggs.milk.Hamburgers..etc. My Grandson loved the Friday night Pizza finds. I haven't seen it in months. Maybe the food shortages or Employees taking it home. Not sure.

Rene, even in 70 degrees some stuff doesn't go bad as long as it's dry goods or cleaning supplies. I agree that a warm day can put a damper on the cold stuff but then I just concentrate on places like department stores or places that have other stuff besides food.

Their coolers probably went down. My sister and I hit a score like this at a DG. We filled our freezers, two other peoples, and the two freezers at the church I worked at for their food pantry.

You can freeze milk I've done it many times. Still good when you put it in fridge to thaw. Just can't get over the waste that goes on.

The thing is ...do you have space tp put all that now ?like you need a huge upright freezer with space to put it ..before it all de-thaws ..do you have extra refrigerators and freezers to put all this ??sure would be great if you ..do ..time to invest in if that is your own a house and a place to put extra appliances .
