Hi from Turkey, I love japanese people and japanese culture, I want to learn Japanese but first I wanna learn your culture, your myths, your history.Where should i start? What would you suggest?
Umut Atılanok What about starting learning Japanese culture from anime. “NARUTO” is one of my favorite. There are tons of kinds of anime in Japan. I’m sure can find your favorite.
@@ぎるばーとぐれいぷ I've watched Neon genesis evangelion and End of evangelion, i loved them. But Actually, I am more interested in Japanese myths than anime.
@@elpis. you could start with studying the works of painter / carver Utagawa Kuniyoshi, who focused extensively on legendary samurai stories and mythical figures. His core work is easily available in book form. In general artworks are a major source of mythological aspects of japanese history. Then you might also dive into buddhist paintings / writings, Zen history, temple architecture (both Shinto and Buddhist) and so on. Japanese culture is deeply interwoven with spirituality and mysticism, if you dig around a bit you will always find ancient roots sooner or later.

The intention of vinyl was different. It was about art, poetry. From CD to iTunes and Spotify music became just a product. I feel a lot of difference too.
The part around 10:00 greatly reminds of the band Stuff with Steve Gadd and Richard Tee. Cool to see how there's so much musical exchange going on between the US and japan
I can't thank you enough for making all these lovely playlists with very curated Japanese music, I feel SO renewed by finding your channel, keep it going!
I have 大橋純子 Point Zero that I got from my dad about 20 years ago because I loved the album as a kid. Never would I have thought this would become popular to non Japanese natives.
Check out "My Life", by Noriko Miyamoto (1978). It became one of my favorite tracks instantly, but even people here in Japan have no idea who she is!! You'll love it, I promise!

"Rare Japanise records" of any other "music" channel: bunch of mainstream anime openings and endings. Maybe one or two random songs from anime. My Analog Journal Japanise "Rare Japanise records": just an half hour of classy music, that you will not find anywhere else and now really want to buy it and upload it to the player.
I think we can automate this. Have a green record cover and flip it around, so the computer can impose a custom cover on it. And we need a green sticker on the middle of the record, so that can also be replaced. Slight movement of the arm to indicate the location on the record. It is doable. :) I love your channel btw.
