I've watched a few AL3 videos and would like to make a few comments
1. Although quality watches are nice they DO NOT make the man
2. Unless you are a financially comfortable, you are deluding yourself into thinking you are someone special by simply wearing an expensive watch
3. High end watches prices and servicing costs are becoming ridiculous
5. All these comments about any lesser quality watch being a "shitter" is bullshit
6. There are plenty of interesting, reasonably priced watches on the market to enable anyone to start and enjoy the hobby of watch collecting
7. You will have greater peace of mind if you have some money in the bank and can feed your family but only own a "shitter" than be broke, depressed, see your family suffer whilst owning an expensive watch
That's all bollocks. The Steinhart is for small change, he can still afford the Rolex.
You can still keep the shit Steinhart AND get the Rolex sub. It is not as if you are buying 2 Rolex.

I think he can't afford the real luxury of a good looking and high quality watch with a falling price like Frederique Constant or Seiko or Tissot etc....
Yea, I believe if you buy a watch that drops in value then pick one you really love. There is some skeletons I like that are under 4k a piece that may not resale for what I buy them for but I don’t want them to ever have to sale them. It’s actually watches I like.

we met a guy with a two submariners.. gold and stainless and a stainless.. paid $20k N.z from a fuckin assehole shop in singapore...wanted to sell me..had them checked out..were both chinese fakes..I was as upset as him...god!!!
Why would anyone want to buy a Stenhart? Well I did - I was lead there by curiosity - but it's a fucking HOMAGE firm - I promptly gave it away when I realised that. My advice is stick within your fucking means! If you can't afford a Sub don't buy a Sub knock off - buy something original and genuine and with some cachet - for a price of the Steinhart I could've bought a proper watch like a Seiko.

Rolex is an expensive shit watch. Nobody I know who seriously collects watches would buy one. About 30 or 40 other luxury watches I would recommend way above Rolex. Funny story about the Korean fake Rolexes that came out a few years ago was that the best way to tell they're not actually a real Rolex is that they keep better time. If I saw a Rolex on this guy, I'd assume it was fake. I'm pretty sure that's what everybody would think. No value to what this guy says.
