How do you Turn a blind eye towards your own daughter knowing she is being sexually abused. This story really hits home with me because I was sexually abused by my father but when I told someone action was taken immediately but as for the justice system they couldn’t convict him because there was no physical evidence.

She didn't report the first incident because it would have shown her infidelity...the second was a family friend that she didn't want to lose the relationship with. She chose herself and her feelings over her children.

My mother-in-law knew her husband was sexually abusing her daughters, did nothing. Then tried to get counseling with her husband to make their marriage work.
