Well done - thanks for this. I go there every year (wife is from there). Best gelato: Il mago de gelato right in Carini.

Hi ~ you're very welcome. Thank you for your encouragement. That's great that you get to visit once a year. Everyone has their pick of favorite spots, and I am grateful for so many good places to choose from. Enjoy! Thank you for watching. 😊

What a beautiful area! Would love to visit there someday. The carvings are ornate and so well preserved!

Have yo[u found any stores that sell antiques? I bet a lot of folks in the states would love an old door or side table from that area.

I have found your channel now after your comment and have just subscribed. Carini is a beautiful town and beautiful place but I am biased as my heritage is Sicilian. Look forward to following your journey. We purchased our property in Puglia in 2022. We are back in Australia at the moment and have rented our property while we are away.

Oh, thank you so much!💗Where is your family from in Sicily? My husband was born and raised in Carini, Sicily. I'm an American and an Italian citizen. You're very smart to make use of the property that way. I look forward to following your journey. ✅

Great video. Do you know of a similar town with the same characteristics and close to Palermo but with a population of less than 20,000 so as to be eligible for the 7% income tax for retirees?

Thanks! Torretta is a town right next to Carini, and it has less than 5,000 people. ✅

Try Casteldaccia, Aspra,La Milicia or Bagheria. My family is from Bagheria and Casteldaccia in the province of Palermo.
