- Hello my pretty pre meds! In today's video, I talk about what two gap years before medical school really looks like visually and it gives you a good idea of how to set up your plan if you only want to take one gap year. Gap years can be confusing so hopefully this video clarifies some confusion.

I was walking in the dark and so unsure of what to do and kept telling myself that I will take 2 gap years without even knowing how to go about it. Thank you so much. You are a lifesaver!!!!
Thankyou so much! I've been scared about applying right now because of the MCAT and lack of clinical job experience. But I am so glad there are people out there taking two gap years. It's just sometimes it feels like one is behind but your plan of action and the way it procedded really gave me a sense of reassurance.🙏 Thankyou so much.
I can’t thank you enough for this video! It’s literally exactly what I needed haha.
Hey Seun great video! Super informative I am also thinking of taking 2 years off! Could you talk a little bit more about collecting rec letters when doing a gap 2? You had mentioned a portfolio? Do you mind saying more? How do you then upload these letters to your application? If you don’t mind telling how that worked for you.. Thank you so much in advance.

gonna make a video on it!
@@SeunSpeaks did you ever make a video on it?
I cringe so much when people call them “gap years.” If it’s actively helping you get to where you need to be, it’s not a gap anything. It’s apart of the journey.
You’re so helpful! Love this channel
Yay! So glad you find my videos helpful :) please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already, more videos coming!
Thank you for this helpful video! I really needed to see a nice timeline like this to get a better idea of what Im planning on doing.....I wanted to ask how far in advance you have to apply/schedule a date to take the MCAT exam? And also, did you apply for the fee assistance program?
do u think this is still a good plan to adapt for ourselves even though it’s two years later?
This was really helpful. Thanks❤
Thanks Seun!
very informative, thank you!
Where did you take physics? Ive been trying to find a four year university where I can take pre med courses without being an undergraduate student, but am having trouble finding one :/
where do you live?
Most people just do community college
Quick question. What about student loans from undergrad? Aren’t you required to pay 6 months after graduation?
You can defer payments
