My son is 6 weeks so I'm in the thick of it with you!! Except with only one. You are crushing it mama!!!
I can totally relate! I have 12 week old identical twin girls! My husband and I were also getting 2-3 TOTAL hours of sleep the first few weeks and now we get anywhere between 3-5 hour stretches at a time. Of course there are still bad nights here and there! But they keep getting better with each passing week and the snoo has definitely helped. Another thing that I noticed has helped me: I don’t let them nap longer than 2 hours at a time during the day! If I do, we have horrible nights where they keep waking up because they’re not as tired. Try to find what works for you! You will definitely notice a pattern as they continue to get older 🤍 Best wishes!
I want to ask as you also have twins...i am also 8 weeks pregnant with twins but really fed up of acidity bile reflux keep on vomiting,unable to eat anything always tired...is it normal what can i do to stop vomiting twice morning and evening my weight has reduced...i am really scared..
I m having twins girls yes dear its totally normal in pregnancy i was in too much nausea in my twins pregnancy which i was fedup there was nausea vomiting alot of.
but dnt reduced ur weight take a meal on time if u have vomiting but u have to take meals for better weight dnt be acared it will all be fine InshaAllah
I am 10 weeks pregnant and just found out on Friday that it’s twins.. I’m still in shock. Following mums that are in the same position makes me think it will all be ok.. thank you for showing us your routine.. your doing an amazing job and your babies are beautiful ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing this. I am a mom of 7 week old Twins right now and have felt like nights were the worst part of the time with my Twins. I applaud you for sharing this 'abnormal' night and I happy that I could fine a similar story to my murrent experience with Twins.

Suggestion: maybe get a soft touch light- your bathroom light is bright and I wonder if the light is stimulating them.

You handled that like a champ! When I was having my children, I often thought multiples would be great. After watching what you went through I am grateful it never panned out for me. You are amazing and look pretty darn good for only having 3 hrs sleep.
WHEN MY twins were that little. My husband fed one, and I did the other. I went solo when they were about 3 or 4 months. Diapered, feed, and back to bed, I did not do the swaddle stuff. My identical boys are 16 now!
💕A SLEEPING TRICK💕Think of it as a baby, they spent the 1st part of there lives listening to your heartbeat then they are born💕Now you replace that beat with a loud ish Ticking clock either close to there cot or a loud ish ticking alarm clock under there mattress💕It might take them a few hours - days to get into the rhythm but it works💕It’s like the rhythm of a swing/pram/stroller even a car💕Your twins are beautiful by the way💕

Absolutely well done mama! It’s hard having your first baby let alone two! You’re doing amazing! This newborn stage is so hard. Sleep as much as you can in the day too. Every day is a day closer to them sleeping through the night. Big hugs to you all ❤️
Oh my word, the Lord bless you. Wow that was a lot. Even my young kiddos were like “again!?!?” 🤣🤣🤣 Bravo for having such a good attitude and smiling through it. You’re an inspiration and it’s refreshing that you seem to be “here for it”, not taking this gift for granted even through the genuine hardships of it.

My boys doesn’t nurse that well all the time and we have to supplement with bottles but I’m trying everything I can to be able to fully breastfeed soon. I m 8 weeks pregnant with twins,getting vomitting heartburn morning and evening on daily basis..have you also faced anything like that...i am so tired of vomiting unable to eat anything...if you could help

I know you didn’t ask for any recommendations but I am using the Taking Cara Babies guide and it has been a LIFESAVER! I didn’t use the guide with My oldest she is 2 and still wakes up during the night but my 11 week old she sleeps anywhere from 4- 9 hours at night. I didn’t do full on guide until she was 6 weeks(adjusted).

That's always my first advice to multi moms.. keep on same schedule. For your own sake as much as anything! We are human and better mommys with a lil rest too! 😘💗💙

Consider not changing there diapers at the 3am feedings. Give a sniff. If no poo- juat skip the diaper change. The diaper can definitely hold 6 hours of pee.
"Dream feed" is where you will top off the baby right before YOU go to bed. That way if they went to sleep at 10pm and you go to sleep at 11pm give a quick nurse (or pumped milk) so that they start the 3 hour stretch when you go to sleep. Giving you a good start to the night.

Wow, you make taking care of twins look easy, but I know behind the scenes its not that easy. Hope you and Alec are getting enough sleep as well. Twins may be twins, but I heard they each have their own schedule one may want to feed at a different time then the other. One may sleep while the other one is awake and there is going to be that one stubborn one that will want all of mommy's attention at night and it looks like Hudson is the winner. They are so cute.
You’re doing great, what a challenge! My babies hated to be swaddled but loved to be propped on a low pillow so they could sleep on their side.

Baby wise book can help you get your twins sleeping at night & napping in the day more consistently so that you don’t go cra cra. With naps & nighttime sleep they could daily be getting closer to 15 hours total at this age. Mine all did it & was a godsend

My daughters are having acid reflux. they were on similac neosure and then similac sensitive. But they still are bringing the formula up and sometimes appear to choke on it and are fussy because of it. What did u use? Any advice??

@@CourierSixMojaveExpresshad them 35+5 days due to baby A having selective growth restrictions. A weighed 3.15lbs and b 4.11lbs. Total of 11 days nicu for baby a and b came 3 days earlier. Both are doing GREAT! 5 1/2 month old now. At 4 month appt a was 12lbs and b 15lbs so growing like crazy. 🥰 I do think we are hitting a sleep regression at this time since this whole week I have been going to sleep after 2am. 😂 1:25am atm. But they are sleeping about 6-7 hours and after they eat, the continue to sleep all morning until 11ish. After that, they eat every 2 hours. So it’s really draining as I’m a SAHM. I definitely shed some tears (still do, but not so much). Hang in there. It’s definitely hard but I love them so much. Seeing them smile at each other warms my heart. Twinsanity fb group has been such a great community and I have learned so much. At first I was really focused on following a schedule but at around 3 months I just started to go with the flow and it’s been tiring, but so much easier since then.

I have 5 week old twins. Currently pumping, bottle feeding (breast feeding a few times a day) and occasionally supplementing. How on earth are you double breastfeeding, it’s so intimidating lol. How long do you feed each?
That’s ok too! At 5 months I started feeding one at a time and now at 8 months I’m pumping a lot more! The twin my brest friend pillow was the only way I could do it! I’d feed them for about 15 minutes at a time I think. Until they stopped feeding!

You need some helping hands...wheres families? Impossible to get by without some sleep....ask around for some help.. Its just too much...my daughter has just been through it with one baby and took three of us to handle everything...

Give them a bottle with formula for the last feeding at night. They will sleep longer.

How to get SALVATION (be saved):
1. Admit that you are a sinner.
Romans 3:32

2. Believe that Jesus paid for your sin at the cross.

“But God demonstrates His own love for us: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”.

Ephesians 2:8-9
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.”
3. Confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and commit your life to him.

“That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”.
4. Repent (What does repent mean and do? To repent is a change of mind, that leads to a change of heart, that leads to a change in actions. This “change” involves both a turning from sin and a turning to God.)

“But unless you repent, you too will all perish”.
Acts 3:19
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord”.
2 Peter 3:9

Once you come to Salvation then comes baptism. (Baptism is an act in which symbolizes one’s renewal/purification and becomes a child of God with the power of the Holy Spirit through water, whether the water is poured on to the forehead or one’s body is immersed into it. This symbolizes the death of our flesh with Christ and our new life through Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.)
Acts 2:38
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Galatians 2:20
“ I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 3:26-27
“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.”
1 Peter 3:21
“And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
WARNINGS!!!
Anyone who does not have Jesus Christ will always be condemned and their righteous deeds are like filthy rags.
Romans 1:8 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit”.
Isaiah 64:6 “All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away”.
Do not worship/sacrifice to other gods; you will only bring harm to yourself.
Jeremiah 25:6
“and do not go after other gods to serve them and to worship them, and do not provoke Me to anger with the work of your hands, and I will do you no harm”.
Deuteronomy 8:19
“It shall come about if you ever forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you will surely perish”.

“No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons”.
TAKE HEED NOW!!!
Jesus Christ wants you to have a personal relationship with him. He cares and loves you more than his own life that he gave it up for you to be saved. Jesus Christ is the ultimate sacrifice for all mankind; to atoned away all of our sins with his precious life and blood, that we may share in his Kingdom (1 John 2:2 “He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world”).
Jesus Christ is not about being religious but to be in unity with him and allow him to deliver you from the bondage that this sinful body (flesh) is doomed for; eternal hell (John 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him”).
Only through Jesus Christ will you ever get to heaven (John 10:9 “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture”). Seek Jesus Christ only: no other gods can save you from God’s wrath. God’s wrath is not a joke or to be taken lightly (Hebrews 10:31 “It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God”). Remember he is our Creator and all things are possible with him (Matthew 19:26).
May God bless you and soften your heart to discern the truth that is in Christ Jesus, the Lord of Lords and King of Kings; the Savior of this world.
