NEW PARENTS!! please ask your provider for safe sleep options. they are usually supposed to be on flat surfaces...just ask someone to prevent any injuries to your child!! loved this video!
Yes I have twin baby girls on the way and this was so helpful… I didn’t even know they sold a twin play yard/ playpen … now I’ve been finding all kinds of double/ twin things … thanks for the great tips, ideas, and awesome energy ❤️❤️❤️
I'm currently looking for bassinets. I just read the manual to the joovy bassinet. It says you can only have one baby in at a time. It's not meant to have them sleep together. It's so frustrating because most other ones recommend the same. Not sure what to get.
Hi there! The Joovy Room2 is made especially to accommodate twins - 2 babies (within weight restrictions as outlined). They also carry other products in their collection for 1 baby only . Hope you find one that you love! I recommend the Joovy play2 twin bassinet with high regards joovy.com/room-twin-nursery-center-bassinet-playpen-accessory/
Thanks for watching! In the initial days from the hospital I would change directly on the bed and place down a changing pad. once they were older and moved around a bit more we transitioned to their nursery with a formal changing station on top of their dresser for ease. The joovy room2 does have a changing table attachment but I did not like it and opted out.
hi there. I have a 5 year old and just found out Im having twins soon. Im thinking of getting a postpartum doula....they are expensive. HOWEVER I dont have much family to help me and my husband goes back to work shortly after they will be born. The first 6 to 12 weeks the doula comes to help out with any and everything needed like 4 hours a day, a few days a week. Any experience with this? One was hard enough....and now Im getting a bit anxious with how Im going to manage two!Thx
@@shantiwalker2237 it wasn't necessarily a negative comment because Dr's and those ppl.at the hospital wouldn't recommend that. It was fact. But for me as a seasoned mom who's currently pregnant with twins, I'll definitely do what she did!
Is the snuggle me a good option for these? If so would you recommend the sheet that comes on it or get a breath through sheet? Im a new mom and expecting twins girl in late October. I have lots of questions and this is the only video I’ve seen that is just like how I’d like to set up my husband and I’s room.
Congratulations on your twin girls! I have not used the Snuggle Me, but it seems like a fairly comparable option that might work great. The sheets I mentioned from IKEA are fairly universal and could work as a backup set to the ones that come with Snuggle Me. Let me know if there are other particular twin topics you would like me to make videos on to help you on this journey!
@@Itsleahlondon do you breast feed the twins if so how to you keep up with the feeding schedule as well as pumping? My biggest concern is how to manage to pump to bottle feed, as well as breastfeed 2 babies at the same time!
@@maggiebobbitt2339 sorry I missed this comment! I did nurse them for several months while pumping -- it wasn't easy but very possible. I pumped OFTEN and was concerned about oversupply but really with twins that isn't a thing because you need twice and much anyhow. I would suggest tandem feeding if possible so you are able to have SOME balance. I sometimes preferred to pump and then bottle feed so I knew how much they were drinking. I also opted for a discrete 2nd wireless pump -- the suction wasn't as strong but it worked in moments I could not be sat at a wired pump (for instance, while driving). I'd suggest to get a good nursing pillow to help with everyones posture for optimal comfort. And you have to drink and eat more than you think to maintain and build supply!! that is really key and often overlooked. you have to move milk to make milk for the supply and demand. Also, some health insurance plans may cover lacation support post-birth so that may be good to look into if that is an option. You've got this mama!!!
I have twins on the way and this was BEYOND helpful in us making our decision on sleeping arrangements, I can’t thank you enough! What brand of the changing pad liners did you buy to fit the the mamibaby lounger?
Congrats on your twins, Mama!! I am glad this video could help you. I used the munchkin pad liners, they are a pretty standard size and i'll link them for you here: www.target.com/p/munchkin-3pk-waterproof-changing-pad-liners/-/A-14323622?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&fndsrc=tmnv&DFA=71700000079335602&CPNG=PLA_DVM%2B0060H00000uK4xZQAS-Munchkin_Google_Always+On_2021_Flight_AO&adgroup=PLA_Munchkin&LID=700000001393753pgs&network=g&device=c&location=9011740&gclid=Cj0KCQiAt8WOBhDbARIsANQLp96kv-rUtyRJc9aeVCupCZ99bMV7na6CVo1tPzDIjgoXgomaY-wx7VUaApOUEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
the essential oils arent good for babies to be breathing in and the amazon purchases have a lot of VOCs and chemicals that babies should not be breathing in
