I am an addict of anything Chinese, and I do admit that I thoroughly enjoy & 💚 to watch all movies and with the subtitles certainly helps immensely..ty
Translation of foreign programs is so terrible these days. But it is spot on in this movie. I'm so impressed with it I subscribed. Although I can no longer write in Chinese from lack of practise, I can still read quite quite well. I like watching Chinese movies with BOTH Chinese & English subtitles since I'm more comfy with English these days, but Chinese when used properly is very "poetic", especially in Chinese period dramas.
Excellent movie shame about the sound cutting out when I assume that something important to the story was being spoken about 😞 Never mind I enjoyed it anyway.
Too bad that at important parts subtitiles were not added! Chinese emphazise the word RESPECT! Some chinese dramas show an important lack of that concept! I do admire chinese dramas, specially their dialogues so rich in concepts and thoughts, but I must admit that when things like the above mentioned happen, I wonder how can such lack of respect happen!
