Totally wasn't expecting the Tilda Swinton cameo! That was a pleasant surprise. 😂
A breath of fresh air storywise, after the terrible mess in suicide squad.
Of all the cutscene videos for the games, your endings is the only one that wasn’t the bad ending. Nobody else got the best, good or true ending.
Throughout this entire video the one thing I will take with me, is Red hanging upside down, trying to tear the rope apart with his hands, instead of using his sword.

Graphically reminds me of a Plagues Tale. Overall, it really does feel like Vampyr. I love these short, narrative-driven romps.
Fed up with streamers I usually enjoy watching, talking over or not connecting with the heartfelt conversations had in this game, I came here to finally properly get into this story. I unfortunately won't be able to play this myself any time soon.

Great game. My only criticism is that the thing about these interracial love stories is that for the most part the writers have their relationships be tragic in some way. That's to bad.

the facial expressions are a bit plastic. Their cheeks dont move at all when they talk so it takes away 30% plus of the the ability to read emotions .Fits the theme of the game I suppose, everyone is dead inside, creepy and distracting. Just needed to change the main character animation rigs by just a little few generic or key shapes and add some state to activate mood that could be amended by the dialogue creators and certain triggers for vowl strong words.
I noticed that too. They weren't very expressive, and they were very animatronic-like while speaking. Which is a bummer considering how far graphics have come. There did seem to be a few decent parts, where lips matched words, but it was far and few between. The music, atmosphere, and storyline made up for it though, I think.
As soon as the choice was made a 5:35:xx, I wanted to watch the ending if the other choice had been made.

So in this playthrough Red takes the law into his own hand murders the Governor and the Captain and he thinks he is good. When he dies he certainly won't ascend.

Storyline and story wise it's quite good, characters quite fleshed out and believable, but the undertone of wokeness make it a hybrid ; quite good but not enough, a lot of hypocrisy on choosing who lives and dies, an impossible "love" beyond the grave and the societal norm.
Cubans aren't black and the position she holds in what seems to be in free slave era is ...beyond suspension of disbelief, as black elves and black "society" in Lotr or the Witcher.
Good story, good game, poor choices on "representation" ...why insert something which wasn't ACTUALLY present in the era ?!

In a fantasy setting, there are elves and magic but a black person existing is unrealistic? Stop it. Just stop it.
