played this game with no hud my first time. Was genuinely scared a lot and didn't have any clue how much health a new creature had or how much damage I was doing
its also vaguely hinted at somewhere (I forget where) on Whiteboards, if you look around enough there are 2 Whiteboards with a massive Apex like Typhon scrawled between them and the wall.
@@homelandenvironmentalriskc2787 I wonder if it was because this being a simulation where you're a typhon hybrid reliving morgan yu's memories. Like maybe your subconscious is showing you these images to remind you of where you came from.
@@pj5403 you will never understand the oddity that is "oh man, this Horrifically Terrifying thing kinda makes me wanna cuddle it". its a plague that gets to some of us. And i'm one of them. I want plushes of the Phantoms, Nightmare, and the Apex. They'd be my Dream catchers. Except instead of Catching them and holding em. They catch em and Mercilessly Haunt em until they die.
Thanks for the Dumb mental excersize: "Who wins, Apex of Cthulu?" My Votes on the APEX. For all of Cthulu's Power, His greatest strength is against Sentient beings that FEAR something, and can be influenced or driven to insanity. The Apex? I dont really think it cares... When it sees Cthulu, all it sees is the worlds Fattest Steak. Literally and Mentally. Which would be interesting to see. The Apex, Devouring the Mind and Body of an Elder God... it'd drive the people in Lovecrafts work FAR more insane. hehehe.
If you manage to scan the Apex (sweet spot is where Alex is, go up a bit) your health will go down to one point, all your Psi will be depleted and will instill Fear. If you hear January's warning about it, it makes sense. It does not unlock an entry, but damn it is scary.
Bad as in it's not a terrifyingly badass space monster that was perfectly hyped up through the course of the story? Or bad as in badass. If the former, why?

Y ?
When that thing showed up-beat the game last night, I literally yelled out "HOLY SHIT!"
Terrifying the first time I saw this
it was amazing and got so fast paced and intense towards the end of the game

Calvino hinted at thus creature in his TransScribe tape. He mentioned a creature swimmjng inside a Black Hole

Reminds me of Cthulhu's reveal in Underwater.

Good video! I'm playing on a potato, so I barely got to get a look at it before I had to get going.
Thanks. It's such a good game. I hope you are enjoying it.

There is another cool detail: if you scan the Apex, you'll get an overwhelming shock, which will reduce your health to 1
Okay, I’m just gonna say it... This... is bad.
Not the video, I’m talking about the Apex Typhoon.

‘Bad’ as in ‘It’s so freaking colossal, the only way to even have a sliver of a chance of killing it is from the inside’.
@@psychochu100 ah I gotcha. Indeedst thanks for responding on a 2 year old comment like lighting. Legend
Shame it was not real
what is the music?
The music for this game was composed by Mick Gordon. However I don't know which track is used in this level. Let me know if you find out.
