So pretty! I would love for you to do Christmas cards year 'round! :) My Paper Glitz is the same consistency as the first three colors you did, I think the white one was off. They should be a similar consistency to like Simon's glitter gel. :)
nope I watched their video on their Paper Glitz and they're all supposed to be a more runny consistency 🤷🏻♀️
Mine is just as yours is Candy. Not watery at all. They might be having some quality control issues. Mine did not freeze in route (ordered in the fall here in KY). Also on Kristina Warners video it is not runny.

Why not use watercolor paper in the bottom of the Splat box in place of the paper towel. Then you could use the watercolor paper as backgrounds
because wc paper would become massively saturated or I would need to use multiple pieces of watercolor paper and I don't need/want to do that. I use bamboo paper towels and only switch them out when they become completely saturated

I always get great ideas when I watch your videos! These are beautiful and glittery…..I was thinking that the white paste that was super runny was the one that changed when it was frozen….🤔🤷♀️
it might have changed to more runny b/c freezing altered something - but regardless the others were much thicker and that isn't how they're supposed to be. Freezing generally makes certain pastes and glues thicker once thawed
@@PrairiePaperandInk I’ve gone down a rabbit hole with these glitzes/glazes, lol. I was watching some picket fence videos, I think that some of the products got thicker when they froze, and the white looks runnier than it should…..the glitzes (thinner? I think?) looked more like thin mayonnaise or thick salad dressing ( they used sponges but also palette knives) while the glazed (thicker?) looked kind of like the mousse texture. They used palette knives with those. 😂just my two cents of a wondering mind….. the perils of products being sent to us in Canada in the winter, lol. Hope your tech/computer issues settle down, and so does your headache 🥰

Love your beautiful cards! I have the scraper tool and love it too. I usually try hand sanitizer first, but if there is anything left, that tool will get it.

So I love with the white ornaments! Glad you used paper glaze as I have a jar from a kit and have never played with it! Now I will! Mica spray stain wipes off I mean the mica wipes off. What would you recommend as a fixative? Does hair spray discolor over time if that's what you use as a fixative? Thanks for sharing your beautiful mass production cards Amy!
I don't use fixatives, and it doesn't rub off unless you're attempting to rub it off (some might but most is stuck to the paper). Hair spray will yellow, plus anything you spray over Distress products can alter them, again why I don't bother with fixatives as I've never seen a need for them

Do you ever have issues cutting metallic paper through a die cutting machine picking up the indents or cut lines from the other dies on the cutting plates /folder
happens all the time - it doesn't bother me. Plus I always keep a clean plate for my top plate and the roughed up cut into plate as the bottom plate b/c otherwise yes any card stock will end up with marks and indentations if both plates are full of cuts and texture

mmmm no I wouldn't add cornstarch to any of my pastes. If I want to try thickening it exposing it to air is the best bet
@@PrairiePaperandInk Lol! I wouldn’t add it to any of my pastes either, but mine never arrive in a mirror glaze viscosity. If I ever receive runny paste I’ll give the exposing to air concept a whirl.
