Both!! However, it is wintertime here and cannot bike outdoors, so will be using the exercise bicycles at the gym! As well as the treadmills and I’ll be adding some strength training on alternate days! I’m 65 years old, so this exercise is helping me to stay active and strong!
That's great to hear, especially as you're planning to add strength training. You'll notice great benefits from that. Be sure to come back here to tell us how you're doing on your new routine 💕
I always prefer my bike then walking because I have a really serious back problem but I just keep going every day 😊 I feel so very happy when I'm out on my bike rides 😊😊
This can be the effect of zone 2 cardio. It depends on the speed and your total heart rate. Brisk walking can definitely be better at burning fat compared to very fast cycling
That's great! However, I made this video because I had many questions about choosing one alternative or the other from people who want to exercise in their free time :)
great video, im 67 i do both brisk walking and bicycle riding. i find riding a bicycle way better moderately fast pedaling. i dont like stationary bikes. i live in a big city and have been riding on the sidewalk for years, i hear of too many bicyclists on the road getting hit by cars on the news.

I find cycling is more effective when pedaling towards the wind. 😫
More resistance or less sweat? 😅
I think cycling is more effective than walking
Thanks for sharing your perspective! Can you explain in what way cycling is more effective for you? 🙂
Cycling strengthens your leg muscles and improves your lung capacity from what I heard from a doctor
