She is an excellent instructor.
I've been a CaptureOne for about 5yrs now. I was a bit of a skeptic coming from lightroom. However C1 customizations allows me to be creative and bring my images to life. Will be upgrading shortly to have access to subject masking options etc.
I harvested a lot of know-how in here. Thanks to Alex and Peter for the many tips.
Valuable tips. It was worth every minute of watching. I learnt a lot. Thank you very much.
Excellent session. I created my own style demonstrated in this livestream, and wow...what a time saver!
This was an incredible livestream. I've rewatched it again and took more notes. Thanks for answering my luma value question Peter!
Excellent! You've answered many of my questions, and more! Thx!
This was excellent! Thanks Alex and Peter!
This was such an amazing session. Thank you for doing that.
i love this! starting out on capture one and I am so excited
Photography and editing is very much a personal thing. One person will like shadows, and another won't.
Some like photos close to being over exposed, but some prefer them slightly under exposed. There is no
right or wrong way to edit.
So much interesting infos ! Thank you !
woo its a new world ,thank you,.I want more Alex livevideo, teach good and beautiful
Gracias. Un tutorial muy interesante.
Really useful!!
Great video. What's the best way to deal with white balance in styles? As I understand it, each layer will have its own white balance (which can't be disabled). So the actual white balance will be a blend of base, subject and image layers, right? This makes consistency across images difficult, no? Maybe I'm missing something here.
By default, each new Layer has White Balance (WB) set to 'Off' meaning adding a new Layer won't have an impact on WB values, unless you have WB adjustments saved as a part of the Style. We wouldn't recommend doing that, though. However, if you do have such a Style, you should be able to reset WB tool manually to get back to the previous values.
@@CaptureOnethank you, I'll give it another try.
That was so interesting and very helpful. Your different personalities made it really entertaining.
The colour readouts are such a vital tool for a professional workflow, and I can’t believe why they still haven’t been added to the iPad version of Capture One…………….
Hey Eivind, thanks for the feedback. It would be great if you could add a 'like' to this feature request and share your thoughts as well: support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/11872586013725-Colour-readouts
This way our developers will be able to see how requested this is.
Wow. I want this info, Alex has so much great knowledge! but having a really hard time understanding her…..

What is the best exporting setting for headshots for Instagram?
The default Instagram optimized export recipe will be a good starting point for the headshots. You might also consider adjusting the export sharpening to your own preference.
Capture One sorely needs Hasselblad X series compatibility. It's not a competitor to Phase One. there is no way I would ever be able to afford a Phase One camera. My X1D2 cost me £2500.
Hey Chris, support for Hasselblad is not currently planned, however that doesn't mean we aren't listening. Please take a look at this camera support request and leave a comment to show your interest in this support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/10297394968989-Hasselblad-X2D
@@CaptureOne There are many requests on the CO forum for Hasselblad support.
CO has been my raw processor since the early 2000’s and just because I switched to a medium format camera I can’t use CO any more, which is painful.
Thanks so strong but please the is an horror compare to lightroom. Impossible to shoot at 6400 with eosR
Hello, our support team would be happy to assist you with this issue. Could you please provide more information by submitting a ticket through our support portal at captureone.com/support? Thank you.
Been using C1 for a few years, and following this channel. Couple of issues-
1. Using separate un calibrated monitors in this stream was horrible and confusing. Even Peter was confused by the incredibly horrible larger display on the screen
2. Showing examples of using luminosity readouts was a good explanation of what the tool can provide, but failed his explanation for images he already shot as a part of his workflow. It lacked a correlation to these luminosity readouts in relationship to the histogram. Or did I miss that? So this didn’t really contribute to explaining his workflow at all. He also seemed to be is slight disagreement to he edits Alex was making. He has said many times over he doesn’t edit his own images, and clearly he didn’t know about the features because he sends them off to a third party for editing. This stream did nothing to explain PH’s workflow.
