- What a trip to the beautiful area of "Lago di Como." In this video, I show you how we explored -- got ourselves lost!! -- and had an incredible time in this special part of Italy.

@@gavils Thank you. The wealth in northern Italy, especially from Genoa, to Milan to Venice, to Lake Como has steadily been wealthy for centuries. I have a deep interest in European history and have been studying it for years.
Yesss! The lake is best place in the world, I've been there 3 times, and only keep finding more things to do and see for next time.

i haven't been there yet, planning next summer as it looks amazing! This year I focused on 5 Terre as I was so curious about that place given that it's so popular for foreign tourists! Italy it's the best!! Love from Florence (Tuscany)!! xx

Loved seeing you walking around and enjoying bellagio where I live, looks you discovered some off the beaten track paths I've never seen....😁 glad you found your way in the end. Lake Como has a special feeling doesn't, I remember holidaying here with my parents when I was little and really felt there was a magic here for me....Its never lost that magic and yey for me I live here now Nd plan weddings all over the lake ♡

Lovely video (as usual), lovely family time. Very heart-warming. Don't forget to visit Piemonte, given your interest in gastronomy and wine. We got the Langhe region, which is like a non-mainstream Chianti, where you can find the "king" of the red wines, Barolo, and more cheeses than you can count!!!

So you were not that far from my place. I'm happy you enjoyed the Lake. Lombardy, as you, know has also other wonderful lakes.
From lake Como you could also reach Milan by bike, following the river, without seeing any car for many kilometers and passing through other nice views.
I've lived here for 17 years, in Europe for 24 years and Lake Como for me, is the most beautiful.
So cool to see my home countryside in your videos. :)

Lake Como is close to our home.
So, last summer we were in Bisceglie Camping close to your Trani and now you are in Lake Como close to our Cinisello Balsamo.

I live here...lake Como.is not only Bellagio. VARENBA and Menaggio just give a look on different places like Lecco city of Manzoni ..Italian best known writer..Nesso..if you want to see a typical site just take a walk in Mandello del Lario.
Hi Katie, why don't you also come to Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore in Piedmont? I am a pearl. In the center of Lake Orta there is the beautiful island of San Giulio, where there is one of the few cloistered convents for nuns still existing. Orta is wonderful. On Lake Maggiore there are Isola Bella, Isola Madre, Isola dei Pescatori (a jewel) where Margherita Yourcenare stayed for years in the only small hotel present. The lakefront that from Arona reaches beyond Stresa (Piedmontese shore) is full of famous luxury hotels such as Des Iles Borromees and the Regina Palace that have seen many famous people stay ... So there are places to see and also full of art. I am, we also eat very well 😊 ... A big hug to you and Connor and lots of kisses to Kiro, really beautiful and good 💖

Ciao, Katie, in the hills above Varenna is a 3 star albergo si chiama, Eremo Gaudia. Not fancy accommodations, but spectacular views. My husband and I did several hikes in these hills and they are, believe me, breathtaking! The small albergo has a wedding chapel (you take a funicular to go even higher to reach it) and i panorami sono mozzafiato! You have probably left by now, but when you return, hike up to Albergo Eremo Gaudia...you won't be sorry!

@@TheQKatie I am a volunteer in a dog shelter in Tuscany so any time I see a dog reacting like this to the muzzle it breaks my heart 💔. Kiro seems such a good guy and I don't believe he would ever bite anyone...but these are the rules. Sadly 🤷♂️.
