I think around year 3 when you have more length you will feel different about them. They are a great size. You can still add extensions to the ends loc/curls
Your locs are beautiful!! I considered micro locs but opted for locs I could maintain myself if I had to. I have traditional locs and mine are different sizes. I believe it depends on the density of your hair and my density is thicker in the middle and back of my head and less dense at my crown and around my hairline. So no matter how precise my parts they were never going to come out all the exact size/ thickness.

I’m 4 years in and WISHED I would’ve just left my sisterlocks alone. I also felt like my locs were too big. I got caught up on the low lock count compared to others. A year into my journey, I combed out the mid section to make them smaller …. I’d pay anything to go back in time and keep my sisterlocks the original size 😩 I plan on combining them in the near future.
I think I could’ve waited and I also should’ve gone to a different loctician. I’m dealing with the repercussions now, but mostly because my loctician didn’t listen to what I wanted.

I regret I didn't get mines larger so I combined them hopefully the will look right in the process. I'm Only 6 months in and had very long hair so I'll give it some time to form if not I'm Going bald

Have you tried doing a flat twist out/braid out etc to give some volume. I've seen other ladies on UA-cam do this and it looks beautiful.

There isn't anything wrong with your locs. My locs are not the same size but i love them.
